I spent what must have been coming up to a couple of hours in the garden, at two different times - lots of raspberry canes cut down, lots of overgrowing grass shifted, some box hedge from next door shifted, quite a lot of ivy at the front shifted too.
I always think I only have one border at the front - but there's a joint border at the other side, though the fence is on my side of that border, the property line goes down the middle. They can't even reach it from their side because of all the car stuff they've dumped at the front, and I had a little bit more energy so I took the easy option, and ended up just pulling strands of ivy away from the groundShattered now, but good shattered.

Morning! More rain, ug, its raining right now. Okay, I have a definite list of things I *must* do today, none of these are optional.
- appointment at 2pm to take my stitches out - like I said, I don't think the central one has healed
- shower beforehand, of course. Timing is an issue.
- bag up the garden waste ready for tomorrow morning.
- buy another pack of the little Birdeye mixed veg - £1 for 340g, but no wastage, and it means its still mostly frozen when I use the last portion.
- check my Mastercard, I think its still in credit, though this will be the last month.
- phone my ex-partner, its his birthday today, and he's kind of given up on me. I'd like to get back in touch - the card I sent late last week was the start of that.
- dig deep on the Fred Olsen website so that when my sister comes round tomorrow we can sort cabin placement.
7 items. And I need to get a new dual fuel dealokay, stick with 7. I can do that.

Thanks beanie
I've checked the Mastercard, no problem, dug into the Fred Olsen website (oh my god, of the 4 restaurants on board, 3 have tablecloths and waiter service), had my lunch (not on the list
) and I'm just about to leap into the shower. Laterz

Stitches all out, the central one *did* heal after all :j
- shower beforehand, of course. Timing is an issue.
Had my shower, and the timings were just right
- bag up the garden waste ready for tomorrow morning.
Not yet, I want a sit-and-a-cuppa after the above!
- buy another pack of the little Birdeye mixed veg - £1 for 340g, but no wastage,
Mini Tesco is by the doctor's, so I went there: £1.55 for 1kg mixed veg, today and tomorrow, plus £2.85 (!!!!!) for three, count them, 3, protein bars for when my sister's here tomorrow. After her efforts at the weekend, however, she deserves it
- check my Mastercard, I think its still in credit, though this will be the last month.
Done, all good.
- phone my ex-partner, its his birthday today, and he's kind of given up on me. I'd like to get back in touch - the card I sent late last week was the start of that.
Not yetI can't quite cope with speaking to him on the phone, so I might wait until my sister's due here tomorrow
- dig deep on the Fred Olsen website so that when my sister comes round tomorrow we can sort cabin placement.
Yep, all good. Need to figure out if we have propellor noise in the cheapest external cabins - if we do, we'll have to step up one level - means a couple of hundred pounds, it's doable. Team Profit here I come ...
Not doing bad! So the amended list for today:
- bag up garden waste.
- look at dual fuel deals.
- change bed.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

:rotfl:Well, I bagged up the garden waste (more than I realised, so I was chuffed) but nothing else :rotfl:except for downloading and doing a preliminary sort of 3 months of photographs, plus copying some Joe Wicks easy veggie recipes from a book my sister lent me. So yesterday's tasks go at the top of today's list:
- look at dual fuel deals.
- change bed.
- ring Fred Olsen again if I can, to check about propellor noise, before my sister gets here.
- detailed meeting with sister about the cruise.
I've done SB, and the dw is on, cleaned bathroom. If it ever stops raining this afternoon, I'll do some more gardening, there's plenty to do without stepping on the ground too much and compacting it.
ETA: my GP practice texted me to say I'm eligible for a flu vaccination! Things happen at such varying times now the state pension age is changing - good to know I'm eligible for this one, appointment made 19th October. I'm just hoping I don't have a reaction to it - haven't had one before, but I'm travelling back to Merseyside the next week at some time, don't want to jeopardise that. Nor do I want to get flu, however!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Same with me, beanie - I don't like to count my chickens on this one, though! But considering how the chronic fatigue circles back to me every now and then, and this year's Australian flu is said to be a bad one, I have to get it done. And if the NHS want me to have it for free this time (age-related!) then I can go for that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
