Thanks for that
I will do it this morning and post today.
Decision to cancel my participation in today's walk vindicated - its just started throwing it down, midway through what would have been the walk time. Really heavy rain, and I'm dry, phew.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Good move on not walking! Pity about the weather though - it's still sunny here... at the moment!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

You're right, beanie, thats the system I need, I use an old calendar so its perfectly possible.
I finally washed my hair! And I chopped quite a bit off the length beforehand, less to wash :rotfl: but dear me, these "showers" are keeping on .... I'll have to judge my trip to the postbox fairly carefullyBit tired too, I confess.

Right, getting to grips. Niece in law saw my fb post to her, and I also sent the card to her and her husband. Two more birthdays this week: the SiL, and one of the Norfolk rellies.
I was going to alter my Asda order to include some interdens brushes - weirdly, Waitrose is 25% - 50% cheaper, depending on whether you buy 1 pack or 2. That doesn't usually happen! I can buy those on Friday after I've met my sister at a very nice local garden centre.
Doing SB in the background, dw has been on, and I'm preparing some carrots for long term storage.
I was thinking of carrying on tidying in the house, but actually the garden needs it more: from my kitchen window, I can see the bindweed gathering force  this is the kind of reason why I hate getting ill. So the bindweed is going to be smackerooed today.
PS the local store thats closing has now reduced things to 70% off - so 160 branded teabags for £1.20, cheaper than supermarket so I'm prepared to buy. They were £4 originally - impossible prices! Sad, though, as I think they're a franchise not a chain, they're selling everything off not transferring it to another store.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Okay, I did hang out online for too long, but eventually shifted myself: wrote both cards, posted one, did a YG survey, and got out into the garden - it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be, though it is bad. Recoverable, lets say, but no chance I'll make my original target date, as the layoff has now been two weeks. Still, I was out for half an hour or so, doing little bits - clearing ivy, clearing soil, clearing bindweed, clearing dead bramble stems, clearing sedge. Rescuing worms. I'll do some stuff in the house later.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

It certainly does
I'm going to tempt fate and do another ten minutes. In fact, I'm going to put my phone alarm on as I go out the kitchen door, to make sure it's only ten

I do that when my hands are bad. I set the timer for 15 mins outside, then sit and read/watch something for 15, then out, then in... It's a really useful way of working.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
