Washing?! Crikey, I'm most jealous! :rotfl: My jeans are still dripping in the bathroom from the soaking they got yesterday when I went for a little walk after my tea and the heavens opened  :rotfl:

Glad you found the bank card though! :j :j

Can I just mention that my sister has also mislaid one of her bank cards in case you happen to spot that on your travels :rotfl:

Glad you found your card, have a good day.

Thanks all! My word, there are a lot of bank cards wandering about the countryside :rotfl: I'm glad I managed to trap mine.

    So, an update:-
    - dw finished, its just cooling down a bit.
    - washing machine is on, and the big fleece I washed the day before yesterday is hanging outside, finishing drying after being in the house.
    - SB is running in the background.
    - isa money has gone from my account, I paid my missing cc account a few weeks ago, and I checked my TalkTalk debits - they've juggled them to allow for the new cheaper rate contract. I think they're £1 out, but I'm not ringing them for £1 :rotfl:
    - card was found!

Excellent! So, the rest of the day:
    - dehydrator faffing.
    - blog
    - phone brother.
Which of these will get done? No idea, though the last is first, so to speak :rotfl:

Good morning lovely peeps :) All is well in this little corner of the world, except for a bit of self sabotage where I went to bed **way** too late yesterday, and am suffering for it today :p please kick me if I do that again!

It's a new month! And this is the last month that I want to be regularly navvying in the garden, that's my project at home this month, to get it done and dusted. Yesterday, I was carrying on clearing the (very thick layer of) soil in the bbq/patio extension area, getting rid of perennial weed roots and distributing the soil. That's coming along.

Mahoosive ants nest *very* close to the kitchen discovered yesterday - I've already been wailing on teapot's thread about this, ants are my research project for this month, I've decided :D I'll be out there to inspect it in a bit.

Jobs from yesterday: quite pleased really, dehydrator is clean, I blogged about what I'd been doing (I still can't post pictures the way I used to, still not right, grrr). Brother is lurgified, so can't chat to him yet, chatted to sister instead.

    Jobs for today:
    - get the micro SD card And Instal It In My Phone! Now! Plus delete whatever I can, storage is full, believe it or not, its hardly working to do SB on. This is an adventure or a nightmare, depending on how it goes :rotfl:
    - get as much rubbish out of the house as I can, binmen etc. Watch for my neighbour too, I've seen him around but I don't think he's well.
    - open the post and deal :o
    - gardening/navvying. If its raining, something in the house, like, uh, cleaning. I've heard of that :D

Huh, I managed to instal the micro SD card - good grief, its 65gig, and I still had to delete loads of stuff to get the Samsung browser to update. Grrr. And thats *all* I've done, it distracted me so much I burnt the veg and the pan I was cooking, which cascaded a bit into doing the dishwasher *now*. At least its done. Off now into the garden.

All these tech things that 'should' take no time at all always seem to end up being more complicated or take longer than expected

Hope the saucepan recovered :) and gardening wasn't too strenuous.

Exactly, teapot! That "should" totally deserves its quotey commas :rotfl:

The trouble with the phone is that apps are only installed on RAM, and there's already so many pre-installed, even updates are difficult. Still, at least it gave me a message that all photos will now go onto the SD card :)

The garden was good: some grass cut, some borders rediscovered, some brambles cut back to expose the fence again, a couple of roots dug up. Some brambles are so mature, they've got ripe blackberries on :o All the roots are in the bin, the dehydrator's ready for the raspberry leaves when I cut the canes over the weekend (I really wanted to harvest the very young bramble leaves, but clearance takes priority, sadly).

Spoke to both brother and sister today, that was good. And my to-do list, all done, except opening the post, its still sitting by the front door, blaming me :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good night's sleep, I'm off soon to try get a sensible amount :):):)

Thanks madvix! Yep, sleep was pretty good. And the jobs weren't bad either :) I always like writing them down here, because it feels like I haven't done nearly as much as I should.

None at all to be done today :rotfl: as I'm off to my sister's. We're going to start choosing a cruise for next year :D and when I come back, I'll stay on t'bus and pop to the frozen veg section of Waitrose :) It's a hard life, retirement :rotfl:
