I probably stay too far within my limits - I know I do loads more when I'm away on holiday with my sister, and I don't get any negative f/b from it, but as you say, the lack of functioning is horrible, and it takes a long time to recover from. So keeping things balanced by doing a bit less, yes, eventually I learned that lesson - only took about five years
Been playing with the Magic Map - I have a new twist for the apocafic :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thanks madvix
I've just been plotting times for visiting Ham House - which I think you were visiting a few months ago? The bus adds to the journey time, but the train time itself is very low, excellent stuff. Oo-er ... supposed to be going tomorrow, when the Met Office is telling me there's a 60% chance of thunderstorms. Hmmm. May need to rethink
Didn't go on my first thing of the weekthe healthy walk - it's throwing it down, for a couple of hours now, thats not something I want to do to myself.
So I need to do something indoors that's helpful in the longer term. Something thats *not* more online research :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Very wise to not get soaked on the walk.... say she who was too stubborn to come in while it chucked it down here!
I know what you mean about *online* .... it's far too easy to sit all day!
Hope weather forecast improves for tomorrow - expect the gardens are stunning at the moment, would be a pity to miss them.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Good decision to not go on the walk.

Thanks both
just checked again for Ham House, and it's down to 30% chance, so I reckon we can cope with that. Probably :rotfl: my sister checks this stuff too, so we'll see.
I did a bit of bathroom cleaning  :rotfl:
Opened the post. Need to check my S&S isa people aren't going to be a complete pain about transferring out from them. At least the other money is in the new isa now.
The sun is cracking the flags, wouldn't you know it!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
... and with the sun out like that, I got to it on the bbq/ patio bit, big results
the space is actually 4' x 6', near enough, I hadn't really clocked it was that big. All but a couple of square feet are now cleared (erm, apart from 3 x 90 litre bags of bark chippings :rotfl:) I've just got to keep on going and get it clear. Really want this to be finished by the end of the month, I'm so done with having it hanging over me. Off to do another half hour, max.

You are making fantastic progress in so many areas, I am so pleased for you. Hopefully you will soon be able to enjoy being in your garden rather than just slogging away at it.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

Good news on getting there patio wise. Its very satisfying clearing bits of ground - if only it stayed clear, sigh0
