So sweet - they love this cooler weather.
Well even though the menagerie loves this rainy weather - I don't!
So I g00gled "Why is it always raining in England" and got...
The prevailing warm moist westerly winds mean that the west of the UK is more likely to receive rainfall from Atlantic weather systems - in the form of frontal rainfall. These weather systems usually move from west to east across the UK and as they do so the amount of rainfall they deposit reduces.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Teach me to ask a simple question!
Rain ... yeah ... :rotfl: we get smacked by the Atlantic all the time. Or as I phrase it my cousin in New Jersey, we get the American leftoversOf course, we also get the European leftovers. And the Scandinavian. And the African leftovers too, much more regularly now. Also known as a crossroads
but "always raining" will do
still raining here, I had to go faff about in the kitchen instead of in the garden, argh!

Morning (just)! It's *very* warm here ... possibly because I was late for my health walk **again** but this time I decided to catch up with them - and instead I caught up with someone who was equally late. We never found the main lot, until we met up at the cafe
Uh oh ... admin to do on the isa, unknown mobile leaving me a text? Whether its them or not, not impressed with their security.
ETA: so, the bank telling me to text to a generic mobile, and their fraud department telling me to go ahead ... after a third phone call, it turns out it *was* genuine, but frankly that annoys me even more than it would have done if it had been fake. I mean, if it had been fraudsters, and I'd made contact with them, would the bank have said "oh, fair do, we know that we ask you to text odd numbers sometimes". Not on your life! Faced with the amount of blather I got shoved at me, I'd just pick up my passport and cheque book and anything else I had, including my birth certificate, and head for the branch. Absolutely insane . But this time, sorted2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning all! I'm not going to check on the above today, either it will have gone through or it won't. If it hasn't, I'll just go in to the branch to do the biz, later in the week. The electric massage chair arrived yesterday at least
and it reclines back a lot further than I thought it did
though I do want to clean it properly as its an addition to my home.
Another thing I'm not going to do today: I can't find one my credit cardsI just don't know where I've put it, and I've turned my paperwork upside down during the last few days. I'm quite dozy, sometimes ...
Next SB voucher arrived
Anyway, I'm off out for the day to London, though I need to be careful of my energy levels, but I'm pleased to be hopping off, to see an exhibition and see the sights. Hope everyone has a good day2023: the year I get to buy a car0
