Phew to not being ttrapped under a steel girder awaiting rescue!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

SL, loving the thought of your own asparagus
most of my plants seem to be doing really well, except the new chives from last year. Jobs I've been doing, rather than faffing hopelessly:
- opened all the post and distributed it
- pruning at the front border
- linked up my bank account with the builder, to pay easily.
- shredding, but the poor little shredder got bunged up, I'll try and get some veg oil in there, but it smelt a bit burned, tbh - nearly done, though, and I won't bother buying a replacement if it's died.
Just seen my bills - telecoms are definitely too much, a tenner too much, so that might be useful work I can do while I'm confined by the building work. All's well, though
Also just seen the ceiling (two layers of plasterboard!) being pulled down in the kitchen, that's quite a sight!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I've really got myself a rep now for not-opening-the-post
:rotfl: oh dear! But all comments and all good wishes are appreciated :kisses3:
I've taken it very slow this evening - and the reality of almost 3 weeks of doing washing up is sinking in  I don't like to say it, but it's a stressful time, and I'm going to use disposables
In the meantime, I'm tucked in bed with a cuppa and the laptop, as tomorrow is the third day in a row of a 6.30 alarm.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Absolutely, needs must - and I'm well aware that whileI was working, my 4 days a week when Iworked at home were down to luck, not planning - I only commuted one day a week, which is remarkable.
