Money. Thanks for that. I’ll definitely look out fur those. There is a local belly dancing class. Lots of Latin American and I bet there’s Bollywood too. We are such a culturally diverse city. There’s something fir everyone. I’m just not it enough yet
But I will be .......
I have been gardening - a bit each day. Got friends due any minute so I’ve just had a quick freshen up.
Humpty. Mum and babe doing well. He’s 11 weeks. Smiling and gurgling away. Her sister arrived last week to take up her residency at Queens Med. so another abject slave at hus beck and call. He’s a really daddy’s boy (my son). Daddy gets the biggest smiles. Lol0 -
Well you could make a start re bollywood with one of the dances "Everyone" has a version of on YouTube - ie a Bollywood one to Jai Ho.
Somehow YouTube links don't work on here - though other peoples have:cool:.
So check on YouTube for:
1. Slumdog Millionaire Dance - Jai Ho
2. Jai Ho Instructional Video - Full Dance
They are both amateurs and not Bollywood stars (though there isnt as much difference as there used to be - now that a noticeable number of Bollywood stars during the last few years are plump too).0 -

I think that is a lovely age, I know newborns are wonderful but by 3 months you are really getting something back.0 -
Has anyone tried flax seed oil? I normally take fish oil for the Omega oils but my doctor said flax seed is better.0

No I haven't but interested to know more. I'm fortunate that I don't have any ongoing ailments or medication but I know my dancing is hard on joints. I've been taking Cod Liver oil and glucosamine with Vit C. Could be psychological but I feel I'm covering bases. Vit C to keep colds away as I have a tendency to get sinus headaches and chest infections if colds get to me but (fingers crossed) hasn't happened for ages.0 -
I was taking fish oil for dry eyes as it is supposed to help but when I mentioned it to my doctor he said it was OK and finish what I had but then get flaxseed oil as it is better. I've just started taking it, 1000 mg capsules so I will see how it goes.0

Humpty - just googled it and it seems to be an anti inflammatory so good for arthritic conditions and is stronger than fish oil. Both DH & I on fish oil so may change when we run out. Thank you for that.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Good morning lovely ladies
You can also add flax seeds to food. I sprinkle them with on to my morning fruit and Greek yogurt. You add them to anything really but I make a nut and seed “crumble”.
Another lovely day here.0 -

Well that sounds encouraging, I wonder why it isn't promoted more? I have to say I have only been taking it for 4 days but my wrist does feel good today but it might be wishful thinking. I'll try to remember to update over the next few weeks.0 -
Hello Ladies,
Thankfully, as I could stand up straight on Friday and the rest of this weekend I was able to go ahead with my plans with my family.
My sisters H and R came to stay with my daughter and myself. My sisters and I went to see Dreamgirls at The Savoy Theatre on Friday night and we had such a great experience. :j:D:T We came away feeling that we wanted to watch the show again immediately because we had such a great time. Then we went to the pub together that I normally go to for a night of dancing. We had a really good time again. I saw Wayne and I said hello and told him to go over to my sisters and say hello to them and he did.
I had 3 admirers at the pub.The 1st and 2nd man are regulars to the pub. The 3rd was a visitor to the pub. I had to dust off my flirting skills . :rotfl:
My sister H went home on Saturday as she did not feel that she had the energy to come to Reading for the birthday meal.
On Saturday I went to Cosmo restaurant in Reading with my sister R and my younger son to celebrate my 2 granddaughters C & D's 12th and 13th Birthdays. Everyone had great food, drinks and desserts and lots of time to catch up with each others news. C & D opened their cards and gifts in the restaurant and they were very grateful and happy for everything they had received.
Today I am taking it really easy and just catching up with washing and drying which had to be somewhat neglected with a household full of family.
I now have £1857.72 in my Holiday Savings Account :j0
