We are home now. Had a really good break with lots of sunshine on first and last days which is when we really wanted it. Face and neck got a bit burnt yesterday!!!! So glad we did't cancel and didn't get snow. Have done a lot of walking which is the first for a while and legs a bit sore.
Got a load of washing done already so hoping weather is ok tomorrow.

FF, you are a day out with your pic! Had to think about it. Lovely pic though.

got a bit wet & cold seeing to bird feeders so am looking

Cold here too Firefly.

Sheils great you had some sun and a good break. It!!!8217;s one part of England I wish I had visited. We only passed nearby. DH has been with DD for football.

DH is a lot better but DD1 has had a bad throat and cold for ages and she seems to be worse not better. So far DKs hasn!!!8217;t caught it.

Hope your family caught up with you Firefly.

Here rain comes and goes. We did manage to pop out for a few bumpiest of shopping when it was fine.

Hi everyone,

Bit late in today, been getting washing up to date, organising meals and visiting parents.

Hope your DD1 is better soon leanfun. We love the Tynemouth/Whitley Bay area and the area to the south like Whitby. The beaches are lovely and the people so friendly.

That is a great prize FF. Well done. DH loves "Old Pulteney". I won a bottle in a different comp many years ago.

Must get some comps done before "Casualty"

good to know I think as it gives more incentive
to keep entering daily
must admit I do like a wee dram of a good whisky
to raise a glass to my dad each year on the passing
of memory for his life & on his birthday,
he also celebrated burns night/new year in a big way so the win will be good here :j
lol, rains back here again & sunshine didn't last long
this afternoon but it has warmed up a bit,
