Thank you everyone for your hugs and thoughts.I went and did the school run today and took him shopping and to his Dr's.Thought we would drop the hospital letter in and book an appointment to see her but was told no need to take hospital letters in as the hospital will let them know and the earliest appointment is 4 weeks away!...i was shocked at that as my dr's try and get you in same day or the same week.His is able to hold things in that hand now so with time he should recover full use of it. He will have a physio come and see him every day from next week so they will give him the right exercises to do.
I took him on the sghool run with me yesterday to pick the boys up and i was close to tears when i saw there faces light up with smiles at seeing him,but i expect they were thinking about their mum not being there now.Hopefully he is on the mend now.

Indie thank you for taking time to update us. I too have a few tears reading about the school run. . Sounds very promising he will regain full use of his hand. I am sure they will allocate good physics for him. Our doctors give appointments weeks away but if you really need to see one you can phone early in the morning. Most surgeries have some system like this but do not always tell you. Do take care of yourself too Indie. Still thinking of you all.

I can recall how much the family have been
through and I also had tears in my eyes when you
mentioned about the school run & how the boys' faces
lit up when they saw their dad with you in the car.


It sounds promising that he'll regain full use of his
hand which is such a relief. As leanfun says - please
remember to take care of yourself too. Lovely to
hear though that he's progressing well. xx

Good Morning,

Dry here at moment but rain coming back and staying later, also due strong winds for next few days so not good.
Managed to spruce up the walls and inside of cupboard/wardrobe of DD's old room, just the glossing to do now (ugh!) DD has some of the walls decorated so not destroying them as they are lovely. DD is the only artistic person in the family.

Sounds like you have been busy too FF.

Glad things are getting better indie ,you will be being kept busy.

Well done on more tickets leanfun.

Good morning all


What a difference in the weather today .... had a wonderful
time yesterday, beautiful day ... pottered around in the
garden, mowed the lawns. It got fairly warm ... +14 degrees!





However .... it's chucking it down now! I'm so pleased
I managed to get out gardening yesterday.


It's a good comping catch-up day me thinks.

Ho Firefly you need to think carefully who receives your prize. Well done. Like Sheils no clue about it.

Heard from ex DIL last night and she sent pictures of the Two GKs at Disney on Ice Glasgow. They had a brilliant time. The ever cool nine year old GS looked so engrossed in it all and even enjoyed the ride on the ice. GD just beemed in the pics.

Good Morning,

Forecast has changed for here and it is sunny but with really strong winds. Got the washing on so hope I will be able to keep it on the washing line.
We have nearly got the room spruced up for DS1 so that is one things out of the way. Going to go and look for a new double bed on Monday.
DS3 is arriving for a week tomorrow. DD is going to pick him up at the station so that will save us. It is nice they are so close although it always seems DD is the older more sensible one . (DS3 2 years older)
