Albert Einstein _party_ Pi Day _party_
:hello: Good morning
Not a brilliant start here! When I posted my Betty blog this
morning ..... to my horror every single apostrophe had been
replaced by gobbledygook!!! It definitely hadn't been there
previously because I'm always careful to preview my posts.
It was a strange mix of numbers and exclamation marks -
bit like this > (!!!8217).
Anyhow, had to edit it again to get rid of the blighters!
I suspect it's my fault for just 'copy & pasting' instead of using
'copy & pasting as plain text'. Ho hum.
What a carry on! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your cousin sheils at
such a young age. :A xx
Had to chuckle re your daughter though! :rotfl::rotfl: Yep!
It's not just the older generation with memory issues!
Sad news re Stephen Hawking this morning. My son
had bought me 'The Theory of Everything' DVD a couple of
years ago so I'll have to watch it again later on - brilliant
film. :T
leanfun - sorry to hear about your landline troubles and all
the probs re passwords. I have an admission .... I have to write
all mine down because there's no way I could possibly
remember them!
Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Morning, hope your all ok. I had another nightmare mothers day this year. My nephew had a slight stroke, started in the morning and wasn't until monday they found out what it was, so i have been staying with the boys and doing school runs. He has been lucky as it affected his right arm and hand and he has gained most of the use back but can't grip anything. He has been told not to drive for a month at least so i will be doing the school runs in the week and will work weekends. I haven't been online since monday so will read back when i get the time. Just waiting for the Dr to discharge nephew so can go and pick him up.0

Won't be venturing out today.
Hope weather is better for everyone else.
Going to take a paint brush and roller to DD's old bedroom as DS1 and gf will be in there when they come. Need to go and buy another Double bed too but not today.
Good luck.

Happy 'Oranges & Lemons Day'!
Hope you're all ok - & sending ((hugs)) to indie. Stay
strong. :A xx
It's a glorious weather day here nowafter a very
wet night!
Fascinating history of the 'Oranges & Lemons Day' Sermon,
London ......
Oranges and Lemons Service
Where: London at St Clement Danes Church in the Strand
When: 15th March 2018
Time: 1pm
The well-known nursery rhyme “Oranges and Lemons” mentions
several churches in the City of London and one of them, St
Clement Danes, holds an annual service to commemorate it.
In medieval times the churchyard of St Clements reached the bank
of the river, and cargoes of fruit were liable to tolls when
transported through it, hence the association in the rhyme >>>

Also hope they've got decent weather today in Market Weighton
for their 'oldest horse race in England' event!

yards off the A614, signposted Warter

Kiplingcotes Derby is widely accepted to be the oldest annual
horse race in the English sporting calendar.

in March, often in exceptionally adverse weather conditions. The
498th race took place on 16 March 2017 >>>
