    Raining here now.

Indie great you have the car sorted.

Re Instagram winners are usually informed by an announcement on the competition post. They usually put your Instagram name on that post as winner and this comes up in the ‘heart’ at the top of the page when you are on Instagram with your other tags. It doesn’t have a direct message section as on twitter.

The win I’ve just had only asked me to contact them and not how. I think there have been some fraudulent claims of prizes even small ones. So I went to their website and found a way to contact them but have not heard back yet.

When I started Instagram I wasn’t sure what pictures to put up. I have put some photos I’ve taken on Madeira. I can’t find a way to put pics up on iPad. We do have an iPhone and I can post from there. On profile page a + comes up and you can add pics from there. Good luck with it.

    :hello: Good morning all

Not even sure what the weather will be doing today! Very
little rain yesterday, just a couple of short showers in
the morning then sunshine for remainder of day. soleil07j.gif

We have sun/clouds at the mo, soleilnuage.gif 'apparently' we're
due light rain showers throughout the day, though can't
see that happening. Could really do with a decent amount
of rainfall for the garden/wildlife, the land is as dry as a
    bone! :p

Enjoy a lovely break in Wales sheils. Can't believe your
DD is on her last 12 week placement & busy preparing
for final exams ..... the time has just flown by!

Pleased your car passed her MOT 2nd time around indie.
It's always a worry with older cars. My jalopy is 16 years
old this July. The lovely local guy who looked after
him for years re servicing/MOTs etc has recently retired so
I have to find somewhere else locally to take over where
he left off. He did a brilliant job though :T & I wished
him a long & very happy retirement.

My goodness leanfun, what a day you had! I think it's
such a shame that quite a few banks have now shut up
shop. My local branch closed down years ago, followed
by another, in the next village. It's crazy! I still use a
cheque book by the way, there can't be many of us left
now! :D:p Always send a birthday/xmas cheque to
older nieces/nephews, so they can choose pressies them-
    selves.

Many congrats for winning children's book & Easter egg,
    brilliant prizes! :T :j
I've eaten too many Easter eggs this week! :EasterBun
I blame my granddaughters, :grinheart leading Nanny Alfie
    astray! :rotfl::rotfl:

Have a lovely & lucky day all, take care.

Morning, very windy here and looks like rain is on the way. I have been out and picked up a couple of pots that got blown over earlier out back.We use to have 3 banks in our local shops but only have 1 now. Haven't decided what i am doing today yet but it is early. Time for another coffee me thinks. Have a lucky day.

Alfie pleased you had a good weekend with family. Four years ago our friend who looked after DH car retired and that’s whe he decided to buy a new one. Hope you find a good machanic locally. Lo to all the Easter eggs.

Indie hope you have a restful day.

Yesterday the saga continued. I climbed a steep hill for me to a shop with a post office counter. Our post office closed years ago. Usually there’s a queue but only an accompanied older man with I think son. They were ages then the older man started shouting out his PIN number so I moved even further away pretending to look at the food in freezers. Eventually they were finished. As the man shuffled off he left a large puddle in front of the counter. Well the man behind the counter couldn’t see it. So I told him there’s a puddle and in a way of apology I said expect the man was anxious. Well the older Indian man at the counter was beside himself. I could hardly understand him. I think he was saying how could he help him when he wouldn’t look at him or take any notice of what he was saying. He said when he told the man to take his card out of the machine. The man had told him there was no need to shout. I’ve been to this post office a number of times sending parcels to GKs and he tries to be really helpful. He phoned someone to come with a mop and in the end asked me what I wanted. Just stamps I forgot to buy more before they went up in price. I walked back down the hill thinking I’d made it worse by saying he must have been anxious.

An event we went out last night with a Voucher we had a meal in Pizza Express and then thanks to Show Film First we went to the play Turn of The Screw with Janet Dibley (Coronation Street, Eastenders) and Maggie McCarthy (Call the Midwife). It was certainly different. Another first we had front row seats and the four actors were excellent. Still good to get out.

Can’t believe how quickly this month is going by.

Big hugs to anyone needing one.

Morning, well done on the wins ff,the water chiller looks ideal for the hot weather.
I just put some washing out as it's breezy and although the sun is in and out hopefully it should dry. Weather don't look good over the weekend so thought i would get it done today. Got to do a food shop later but nothing else planned. Hope you all have a lucky day.

    :hello: Hiya

Been having so many problems with my old lappy this morning
so I’m typing this on my iPad. Laptop desperately needs
replacing & I’m afraid I find it a bit of a struggle using iPad to
post. Love using it for everything else but it’s a big no no for
typing posts on the forum, unable to work out how to post
    pictures for starters! :eek: :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done on your brilliant wins fire**fly. :T :j

Lol, my granddaughters received so many eggs this Easter that
quite a few have been left in my fridge for their next visit. Must
admit I’ve been fairly tempted to have a little nibble! :p
    :rotfl:

    :EasterBun

Still no rain here but we’ve had a weather warning issued for
later today/tomorrow re. Storm Hannah!

Have a lovely day all, I’m off to try to mend my ancient lappy. :p
