Had lots more rain and looking gloomy with lots more rain forecast for next few days. Expect all our farmers will be happy though as the grass everywhere here is turning green again. My little pansy seeds are all growing in the garden too so hope the slugs etc don't eat them!
The slugs have appeared from where ever they were hiding from the sun.


We are up and organised as plumber supposed to come any time so fingers crossed as he isn't terribly good at coming when he says!


Yes the Ribena instant win Alfie. Won loads of bottles but a lot fewer £1 Amazon vouchers which I wanted. Would really like a Ticketmaster voucher from them though.

Morning,well done on the win sheils. I can't even win a free bottle.lol. We have another sunny day here,just watered plants so relaxing now. I know what you mean about the slugs and snails sheils, we only had rain for 2 days and they appeared from no-where. I am just doing housework today as back to work tomorrow. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning everyone. Bit damp here but at least rain is off for now. Rained most of yesterday and last night. It is not cold though but comfortable. Hope everyone is doing well. Have not been comping for a few days but back in the swing today. Be lucky folks.

Morning folks. Bit dull and damp again here but hopefully it will clear later. Hoping for some sunshine over the weekend. DIL and GK's are off to York today for the weekend. Have given them a list of places to see as they have never been there before. So hopefully they can pack it all in and enjoy it. I hope you're all ok on this glorious Friday! It's yet another
beautiful start to the day here but will become fairly hot
as the day goes by. I love the sunshine but definitely
not keen on the humidity & muggy feel!


The weather is set to stay like this over the weekend and
well into next week.


Certainly not as warm as parts of Europe though, with some
temperatures up in the v. high 40's!! Phew! :eek:


I'm sure your DIL & GKs will have a brilliant time in York
rose - it's a such an interesting place to visit! :j


Had a quick go on the Ribena comp yesterday sheils and

Misty and cloudy here but sun supposed to come out - at 5pm!
Hoping the weather will be better at DS2's tomorrow for his gfs party. Looks like it will be dry but sun not coming out until late there either.
Poor DS3 says he hasn't seen the sun since he got his holidays.
His pals and him have booked 2 nights in a lodge at Oban for the following weekend and it doesn't look great for then either.We will be heading for Blackpool then and it looks ok at moment.


Yes, York is great fun rose. My favourite was always the Yorvik centre but I know there is a chocolate attraction there now too. Last time we went we followed the cat trail to find all the cat figures on the buildings - would have been more fun with kids but we enjoyed it!

Morning, work was cancelled today, so have another day off. Don't really mind as always try and book 3 shifts so if one is cancelled i still have 2 and can cope with the pay for that. It's warm and sunny here, had a really muggy night and it was hard to sleep but going to be warmer tonight. I won £1 amazon voucher on the Ribena comp earlier.Don't give up Alfie it's worth having a few goes.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Had a nice visit to DS2 and Gf and met lots of GFs family.
Thanks for the sunshine Alfie but it didn't really last so just as well they
had a double gazebo in the garden! Hope you are managing to keep cool.

We are back home now as DD is working at 4.30pm.
The sun is shining now but doubt it will last. Will try and get washing hung out soon anyway.
