Dull start as usual here. Did get some sunshine yesterday afternoon.
Finally got ensuite toilet sorted yesterday - needed a special balcock as cistern was all set up at one side instead of using whole area.
Downstairs one playing up a bit now! Plumber coming back to service boiler at end of week so going to look at it then. Always something.
Visited my aunt yesterday, she is 86 and so with it. Such a difference between my mum and her. (Mum is only 77) Should visit my aunt more often as we were always close.
Not meaning to do much today.

Morning folks. Dull and cloudy again here. Yesterday afternoon and evening turned out nice after cloudy start. So hopefully will see some sunshine later. Took me about three hours to do hoovering and dusting yeterday but got there. Today it is bathroom and kitchen but can do most of that sitting down. Have some mince defrosting in fridge so it is good old fashioned mince and potatoes today. Looking forward to it. Hope you are all well.

Afternoon. Neighbour has just picked up his new car and it is fab. It is a metalic blue Mercedes and I love it. Always wanted a white convertable merc when I was younger.:cool:

Morning folks. Another cloudy one here and feels a bit cooler this morning. Have been up half the night with cramp in my leg so have decamped to kitchen so that I can get my foot on to a cold floor. Don't know if that is supposed to help but seems to be doing the trick. Do not usually suffer from cramp but I am guessing it is something to do with hip and leg and surrounding muscles etc. Anyway hope I find you all well. Time for a cuppa. cya later.

Yay! We've had some rain through the night. Happy happy
days! :j


I managed to have a very productive day yesterday out in
the garden.


Had a really good tidy up doing this n' that. Didn't manage
to paint the wooden garden chairs but did give them all a
good wash/scrub in the afternoon ready for painting in the
next couple of days.


Lots of spiders scuttled away including one with
a huge fat body. :eek: I expect they'll all be back today! :rotfl:


I've only ever had cramp twice rose & my goodness it was
the most horrendous pain - so I really feel for you. Pleased
to hear that you're ok now.


Your aunt sounds a lovely lady sheils. As you say, there's
always something that needs fixing! Hope your plumber
can sort out the downstairs loo now. It's lucky you've got
two! Same as me - always thankful for an extra loo,
especially when family come to stay.

Woke up to very light rain this morning. Still raining but you can beardy see it. It!!!8217;s so much fresher.

Sheils pleased you saw your aunt. Know what you mean about seeing people you would like to keep up with. Hope plumber resolves problem.

Rose sorry to hear about your cramps as Alfie says they can be so painful.

We have had seven year old GS here over night so DD1 could go straight to work this morning. He has been going to a childcare centre since school broke up and had to wake up early four days a week. The centre took them out every day so he is tired. Have to see whay we do today.

Alfie pleased for you that you have had rain.

Morning, we have rain here. It started at 1 ish and is still going.As you say leanfun it is so much fresher and it's nice not to have the fans whirling away. I always try to put my foot on cold floors when i get cramp rose, it seems to do the trick. Nephew is watching his kids channel at the moment so i am getting some comps done. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Sun is out yaaaaaaay and clouds that are in the sky are mainly white puffy ones. Cramp is still driving me nuts keeps coming and going. Neighbour is going to pop in to chemist for me when she goes over to shop to see what advice they have. Be lucky everyone.

Nice sunny day here but bit of a breeze. Washing all drying nicely and thinking about doing some gardening after lunch.
Glad people are enjoying their rain!

DD and BF came for dinner last night. DS3 made a honey chicken and king prawn stirfry for us and we opened some wine too.


Had a walk down to Tesco earlier so must try and enter some comps now.
