Yay! Just had a downfall of rain & more to come!
Happy days! :j
Interesting article ....
One step closer to reintroducing wild lynx to Britain!
This is a promising step in recovering our declining nature and
bringing back our missing animals. But it must be done carefully and
properly monitored.

Morning sunny here this morning. Storm yesterday evening about 9. Does feel so much fresher.
Alfie sounds as though you have had quite a lot of rain.
Sounds like you had a great evening Sheils.
DD1 brought GS around and said he has been awake since 3am. Ho dear will see what we can do with him today.
Take care everyone and be lucky.0 -
Morning all,
Had a bit of rain through the night but ok at moment. Hoping to get bed changed so hope it stays dry. Got last of other stuff out on line now. DS3 heading off for his Oban break tomorrow and we are heading off on way to Preston for the night and then Blackpool (for airshow) before 2 nights at Hoylake. Weather looks a bit iffy for Sundays airshow but will see. The forecast keeps changing. Oban was showing torrential rain for weekend and now showing hardly any and Preston was showing rain for Saturday and now showing sunshine! Nearly cancelled the Preston night as we are meaning to do some canal walking and then getting to Blackpol early on the Sunday.
Don't envy you minding your GS today leanfun if he has hardly had any sleep!
Hope everyone has a lovely, lucky day. Don't seem to be many wins about.

Morning everyone. Had a little rain earlier but it is still warm here. Cramp just about sorted thanks alfie. Managed to get across road earlier for bread, milk and a newspaper. Got a row from neighbour that I hadn't asked her. Must admit hip and leg are sore now but not painfull and managed to keep my balance with one crutch. It took me a while but I managed. Hope everyone is well this morning. Alfie hope your garden gets a good soaking. It will help your grass and plants no end.0

Morning, love the lion tag sheils. Made me giggle. We have heavy showers here this morning but should ease up later in the day.I give up with the forecasts as they say one thing and the next day it's all changed. We must have road works going on locally as kept waking up to heavy drilling but couldn't see anything when i looked out so must be on the main roads.Son's GF has gone away for the weekend to a friends then she is off to a Fairy Festival. Both son and myself are working so we have a busy weekend ahead. Hope you all have a lucky day.0

Great lion laugh. Sheils.
just eventually had GS ready for park. DH kept saying it is going to rain this afternoon according to forecast Opened front door and it promptly rained hard. Gs stood for a while in front garden with umbrella up. Yesterday he discovered how to put this big umbrella up. Now on plan B. Cleared floor in back room found a balloon that bust but have found on soft ball to play some kind of tennis with small bats. It is going to be a long day.0 -
Morning folks. Turned out a really nice day here yesterday after a bit of cloud and rain in the morning. Looking at the sky this morning it is quite blue and clear so hopefully more sunshine. Alfie see the south coast is to have some rain so hopefully it will pay you a visit. I really must learn to sleep past 5am as I seem to be constantly tired at the moment. Even if I stay up past midnight it does not make a difference. Maybe it is because I am unable to be as active at the moment. Oh well enough moaning. DIL is dropping in some shopping for me and some things to make DS lasagne, curry, casseroles etc for when he comes home. We think it may be in the next week or two, but until phone call comes we don't know. Pity he has missed all the good weather. Never mind they are all off on holiday abroad next month so he will get some much needed sunshine there. Hope everyone is well. Take care.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all well on this glorious Saturday. The sun is
shining away now, after a very mixed weather yesterday!
One minute we had torrential rain, then sunshine ... then
the wind decided to join the party - it was like that all day
long!
Looks like we'll be having sunshine all day here then
apparently rain again tomorrow.
The garden has perked up considerably, it's amazing how
quickly it springs back to life! :T
Have a wonderful few days away sheils & safe journey.
I'll be lovely having your DS back rose, sounds as if you're
going to be busy cooking his favourite dishes. I bet they'll
all have a brilliant time away on hols (am I right in thinking
they're off to Turkey?).
Lol leanfun - sounds as if you had your work cut out with
GS yesterday! :rotfl::rotfl: It's quite hard to think of things
to entertain the kiddies, when the weather's a bit iffy!
I hope your son's gf has a magical time at the fairy
festival this weekend indie.
There seems to be quite a few fairy things going on at this
time of year - just found one at Burley - I've been to the
village quite a few times - it's a lovely traditional place
with a definite hint of witches, smuggling and dragons!
Come and join us for a friendly uplifting fun weekend. Enjoy the
magic of the enchanting home of the New Forest Fairies,

glinting in the sunlight.

who teach the fairies their secrets.
The Weekend will be packed with entertainment and workshops for
the whole family. Handmade Arts and Crafts help us to discover
the magic of nature.

Morning sunny here this morning. It was heavy showers here yesterday sunny then more showers.
Rose sounds as though you are doing great. This year I have slept a bit later but previous two summers always woke up about five so know how that feels. Happy baking today.
Sheils enjoy your break hope the weather holds for the air show,
Indie hope your DSs GF enjoys the fairy weekend. GKs in Scotland went on a fairy trail at weekend and really enjoyed it.
Alfie thanks for the links loved reading about Burley.

Morning everyone. Looks like it has been raining most of the night. Hopefully it will clear later. Tubs and hanging baskets are looking good though. Bed stripped and airing will hoover mattress later and put on new bedding. Love getting in to a bed with fresh linen. So that is my job for the day. Exciting life I lead lol
Will be glad when I can get about a bit better. Neighbour is going to drop in my Sunday papers later along with a bacon roll. So only have to boil kettle and I am all set. Hope everyone is well. Take care peeps.
