Good Afternoon,
Still raining here - sick of it now!
Glad you got some though Alfie.
I really love big cats, especially lions and tigers.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying their weekend.

:hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all in fine fettle this Monday morning. The
weeks are just whizzing by, can't believe it's the last day
of July tomorrow.
After the much needed rain, my garden has perked up
big time! All the plants/shrubs are looking much happier &
actually standing upright now. I didn't have to do any watering
yesterday evening either! :T :j
The grub/worm eating birdies were mega happy, I could see
them all tapping around the lawns/beds hoping for a juicy
meal!
Off out this morning to get some provisions in & may
take a trip over Beaulieu way to visit my favourite garden
centre.
It's World Friendship Day today .....

Morning, hope you all had a good weekend.Work was very busy for me, but off now till friday. It rained all day yesterday and has eased up now but more expected today. It's so nice to be able to feel comfortable in these tempatures as it was far too hot for me. Got nephew arriving soon so must try and get some comps done before he arrives. Hope you all have a lucky day.0

Had more rain here and more forecast for this afternoon and rest of week.
Think that is probably our summer finished up here! It was good while it lasted.
Glad the weather is suiting you now Alfie and enjoy your gardening.
We picked DS3 up yesterday so he is here for nearly 2 wks. he has worked through all the heat and was hoping to see some sunshine so disappointing for him that the weather has changed as he isn't often on holiday at this time.
DD gets home tonight, hopefully in time for dinner which DS3 is cooking.
Chicken carbonara I think as he knows DD loves things like that. She is pretty fussy.
Good luck all. Must get on.

Morning everyone, it's drizzling here and the sun is out, they have said the rain will stop and temps should be around 22-24. It is warm out already. :hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all ok on this first day of a brand new
month!
Hope DD made it back in time for the meal yesterday
sheils. Sounded delicious. Sorry to hear that
your weather's not so good but would happily do a
swap! We're due another heatwave down here in the
South!
It was quite pleasant outside yesterday morning but
quickly warmed up as the day went on. Phew! Back to
using the watering can out in the garden yesterday
evening.
Feel so dreadfully sorry for all the farmers suffering from
these drought conditions though. Such an extremely
worrying time for them.
Sounds as if your nephew is having a wonderful time at
yours indie. :T
Did anyone watch 'Love your Garden' on ITV yesterday?
The team did a brilliant garden makeover for Nathan, a
double-amputee veteran. :A Although now up & walking
again, Nathan was still unable to play with his young son in
the garden due to difficulties with layout etc.
The end result was absolutely amazing! :T:T:T
Since his recovery, Nathan has devoted his time supporting
older & elderly veterans - so a very well deserved surprise for
him and his wonderful family/friends to enjoy.
Have a lovely & lucky Wednesday all and please take care
whatever your plans.

Morning, yes i watched the show Alfie, i love the way they take all the family into account and there is always a part of the garden for them. I always watch the show when it's on.
We have a sunny day here but it's not that warm yet which is lovely. Nephew has just arrived and watered the plants, going to pop to shops later for a few bits.Hope you all have a lucky start to the month.0 -
Morning,
Bit cloudy looking here. Not feeling warm.
Was wakened by toilet cistern playing up in ensuite, making noises and filling up constantly. DH couldn't fix it so had to Google how to cut off water supply. Had to take wooden panel off to find the screw thing to turn. Anyway, plumber coming tomorrow morning unless he can fit us in tonight, as he is working away. Was quite chuffed with myself for getting water supply off to it!
DD got home safely, earlier than expected as plane was early.
We all enjoyed DS3's meal and there was enough to send some to DD's bf too after his work. She got flowers and a card and homemade brownies made by bf and his little sis) Think I should go away without DH and see what I get
Anyway had my first August win - £1 Amazon voucher from Ribena!
They all add up.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all well - it's another beautiful start to the
day here. Lovely & cool at the moment but I expect it'll
become warm, muggy/humidas the day goes on.
Can't believe the extremely high temperatures everyone's
having to deal with, not just Europe but right across the
globe - quite scary!
Well done with finding out how to turn the water off sheils -
it did sound a tricky/fiddly job! :T Good old google - must
admit - I'm very fond of googling, it certainly has its uses!
Also very well done on getting the first August win! :j As
you say, they all add up. Was that from the instant Ribena
comp? May have to take a peek later.
Just posted the following over in the Betty thread ....
