I've been making cakes - love uncooked cake mixture!

Morning, another hot one here again. I was expecting thunder earlier as it was really dark for a while but it seems to have passed by. I had a mag win this morning from Prima have won 10 pairs of bamboo socks that help endangered animals. So well pleased with that win. Nephew is playing on his x-box that he brought with him so he is busy building a world on mine craft. (all goes above my head, lol) but he enjoys the game. Hope you all have a lucky day.0

Have had a busy day so just relaxing now. Gorgeous here at about 23c and sun shining away - just right for us. Did do little bit of gardening but gave up. Just going to sit out and enjoy it instead. Weather after today not looking great, cooler with rain and showers so will make the most of it.
Sorry, I know you would like some of this down south folks.
Hope you are all managing to keep cool.

:hello: Good morning everyone
Still dry as a bone here with a muggy feel. Got quite excited
in the early hours by a huge clap of thunder .... false alarm
though!
It's going to be even warmer today but apparently Sunday is
due to be a gloriously stormy day so fingers n' paws
crossed!
It's the start of National Fishing Month today .....

Good morning folks. Blue sky here. Hope everyone down south is ok. Thunderstorms and heavy rain forecast for you is not great. Been doing a bit of online shopping (non food) really must stop as I never send anything back and have things that never see the light of day. Hope everyone is well. Stay safe.0

Good Morning,
You are both up and about bright and early Alfie and rose.
Quite a pleasant morning here but rain will be arriving by afternoon and staying around for a few days if forecast is right. Wish I could send it down to you Alfie but maybe you will get your own.

We have DS3s Gfs birthday party on 4th but other than that not away until 11th when we are heading to Blackpool for the airshow and then to Hoylake (near Liverpool).
Well done on the socks win indie.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Morning,
Been a wet night here and rain just going to keep going until Monday morning I think, with an odd break!
Glad you got your rain Alfie.
DD got to the Algarve hotel safely. Was a bit worried as her 18 year old friend was driving to Glasgow Airport and neither of them had driven on the motorway before. Also when printing her stuff out (last minute) she realised she should have confirmed their bus at Faro airport and by then it was too late. Anyway all was well and she says hotel lovely.
DS3 arriving at Lockerbie railway station on Monday and already offered to cook
Not sure what we are doing today but possibly a bit of comping.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

I'm loving the wet weather at the moment, enjoying it while
it lasts! :j I think we're in for a good steady rainfall throughout
the day which will do the land etc a power of good. :T
The temperature is also a lot more bearable!:j
