Morning all. Been taking a break from comps and read a book over the last few days.

Great to hear from you Wingo. Hope you enjoy your school holidays and Family holiday to Bulgaria.

Rose smiled about your sister and her holidays. Like you a cruise has never appealed to me. We have friends who live near Southampton both retired and often go on cruises when the price is right but usually around Europe.

Sheils Cumbria sounded good. Great you both enjoyed your spar prize.

Alfie it must be hard for you watching your plants withering as you say grass springs back. Hope your dream comes true and it rains. It surely will as school holidays start tomorrow.

The twitter prize turned out to be a total bag, flip flops and an umbrella with I Love London on.

A WEM came from this comp https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5853531/e-04-07-win-a-bespoke-brut-gift-set&highlight=brut

I am not too sure about the email address and the wording of it so might ask advice in Compers Corner.

Hope everyone is well. Good Luck all.

Well done on the wins leanfun. I usually read in my dinner break at work, love reading but charlie don't like books. His previous owners gave him books to tear up so he goes beserk if he sees us reading. I use to put him in the kitchen but couldn't stand his whinning. We tried to break him of the habit but couldn't. So i only read upstairs or at work.
My sons marvel win turned up yesterday and i couldn't stop laughing, took 2 of us to get it upstairs the box was so big. We haven't opened it yet but will do so later. I had a nice surprise win this morning. Had to sign for it, £100 of theatre tokens. My son is saving up to take his GF for a surprise trip to London and the theatre so this will be very handy for him.

We are home now, came back via an English Heritage hall and castle and a NT house and garden and then had free burgers at a Table Table using points so didn't have a meal to make. Really enjoyed the Indian the other night.

Nice sunny day now the mist has lifted, not going to be too hot though I don't think. Now don't get upset Alfie but we are due to get rain through the night and tomorrow morning! Hoping it might perk up my flowers but think most are dying off for the summer. Going to try growing more pansies - got a few started in doors but would prefer if they grew outside where I want them.

Well done on theatre voucher indie. I have had lots of Ticketmaster ones in past and had great fun using them. Of course tickets at theatres up north are a lot cheaper so I got lots of visits out of them. Has your son been up to Scone yet?

Well done on another win leanfun. Hope it is ok.

Are you cooking for anyone today rose? We are going to have mince and new Ayrshire tatties tonight. Something we don't get when we are away!

    Wishing everyone a lucky day.

Morning everyone. Lovely and sunny here. Been having a lazy morning as hip is a bit stiff. Not cooking today shiels. Not even for myself. Just going to have something from the freezer. ((quite fancy chicken casserole which I know is in there somewhere lol) Love mince and new pots shiels. I have even been known just to have Ayrshires topped with loads of butter. Also love them with bacon and cabbage. Alfie hope you get some rain which may perk up your plants some. Leanfun well done on wins. Off to check e/mails. Be lucky folks.

:T Very well done on your win leanfun! :j Don't blame you for
being suspicious - you never know these days, always best to
    be cautious.

Came across the following heartwarming story yesterday ....

    Wildcat kittens rescued in Scotland

Two orphaned wildcat kittens have been rescued in Scotland, creating
fresh optimism for the species’ future, says conservation group

    squabbling between them! :eek: :rotfl::rotfl:

    Good Morning,

Raining away here as forecast and set to continue all day!
O'h well, there is a pile of ironing to keep me busy. I was trying to sort out the front flower beds yesterday and the soil was like dust so I'm not really complaining.

Hope appointment goes well and you have a good night with your friend tonight rose.

Didn't hear about the wildcat kittens Alfie. Wildcats are actually the most vicious and dangerous cat in the world by size or so I was told when seeing them at wildlife parks.

Hope everyone has a lovely and lucky day.
