Ho Rise you sound so busy. I am sure they will all enjoy. Sorry to chicken for me too not keep on hot food. At least you have time Rose.
Yes, we made it to the park before it was too hot. We did not go to usual park. We are lucky to have two parks walking distance. As GS messed about too much DH gave us a lift in car up the hill and stayed with us. This park has a massive field area and it was good to see a number of groups having football coaching. We passed one group with coach shouting at them because some of the boys were not listening. He was shouting all the time. GS said he was bossy. GS loves the new bouncy ball so had some good exercise.
Visit to park made us realise we would not be able to sit out in the sun for hours at Roehampton next Saturday. When we went to Wimbledon we were out of the sun and centre court roof has air con. So I think DD1 will be going. She plays tennis and two from her club are in tournament.
Indie thanks for tip about painkillers had not thought about that. Indie our local Bon Marche closed too. it is all very well ordering on line but you really need to try things on for style and sizes. Recently had to sent a dress back when I had looked at their measurements, measured myself and still dress was miles too big. Our local post office closed too. Plus this year the chemist round the corner.
Sheils hope you have had a good journey and have a good time. Hope your Dad is home soon
Alfie DD1 had message from them in hotel last night 5 and 3 year old were jumping on beds at 9pm. DD2 I think was nearly regretting going as breakfast was going to be at 8 and she said they would want it at 6. At least they will have a full day at zoo today. It is an experience. They had breakfast in hotel with us last Sunday and were very good.
Well better crack on. Hope everyone has a good Sunday.0 -
Evening peeps. Been a lovely sunny day here. All diners have gone home. Peace and quiet has returned. Dishwasher is humming away in kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the day at Faslane. Dinner went down a treat and GS has gone home with curry that was left. He is going to have it tomorrow. Now have a house full of flowers and two bottles of wine that was left over. DIL' brother brought in beer and wine to have with dinner for those that were not driving. Friend is coming over tomorrow night. She had four days in Barcelona (working) her boss was there as well negotiating a contract. So no doubt wine will be opened or even a gin and tonic. (painkillers have got the heave ho don't need them) DIL is going to pick me up from hospital tomorrow after appointment and quick visit to neighbour. She is also going to run me down to Asda for a few things. Wheelchair is going back next week as I am mostly managing without it so another week and I should be ok without it. Hope everyone is well.0

Morning all,
Had a lovely afternoon at Shugborough estate (NT) yesterday. It is near Stafford and was beautiful in the glorious sunshine. Staying near Coventry for 3 ngts and going to the transport museum today. DH has always wanted to go so although the weather is so good we are still going! Want to see the cathedral too.
Dad got home yesterday. DS2 travelled down to visit him and got taking him home which was nice.
Hope everyone has a lovely , lucky week.

Morning sunny here too.
Rose great all went well yesterday and all enjoyed. Brilliant you are a lot better. Well done you. Yes, this year pollen levels seem at all time high.
Sheils enjoy Coventry. Somewhere I have never been to. Would like to see cathedral. Well done to your DS2 visiting GD and so pleased to hear he!!!8217;s home.
Alfie agree days seem to be going quickly. You will be very busy this week.
Here we were by ourselves yesterday so DH was glued to the football. We did manage a coffee in garden in the afternoon.
Ho I won £1 on the annoying humming bird yesterday and found I had also won 10p. I was surprised as I have not been bothering much with it this time.
Hope everyone has a good week. Be lucky0 -
Hi peeps home again. Appointment went well and visit to neighbour went ok. Nurse had to check I was in diary to visit her. Promised I would not disturb ward and only stayed 20 mins. She may get home at the end of the week as long as leg is cleared. Neighbour was out in courtyard sunbathing and said to me have you had a look at our temp gauge. It was 30 degrees. so will probably climb in the next hour. Thankfully it is not that temp out in the street but is still warm. Our courtyard is enclosed on three sides but we have a 7ft wall on the other so it is a suntrap. Antihistamines have kicked in for me so itch is not so bad fed up sneezing though. Will probably spend an hour outside when I am having lunch as I hate to waste the sunshine. I tan quite easily but always use a high factor sun cream. DS hates me for that as he has same kind of skin as his dad and has to stay in shade until skin switches on and says ok if I am not to burn I need factor 50 and move in and out of shade lol. Take care in sun peeps.0
