Evening FF hope things are getting better with you and DH. Hopefully will see you back in the Inn soon. Indie how did you get on with doggie haircut. Remember when we used to do our Westie we had to hold her down while mum clipped her. She was a nightmare to wash as well she hated water lol.0

Morning peeps. Bit dull here but supposed to brighten up later. Mr seagull is making the most awfull racket again this morning had a look out and there were four of them so obviously his friends have moved in lol. Bins are out for emptying so I just wonder if they have figured this out and are ready to swoop when the lorry arrives (usually around 7am) Know it's a bit far fetched but I think they are cleverer than we give them credit for lol. Anyway hope everyone is well. Take care.0

Yes they are clever rose, saw a programe on then ages ago and was surprised how clever they are. Got dogs coat cut, he is good to start with then he wriggles so son has to hold him. I have a little bit to do but will get it done with scissors over the next few days. He hates water as well rose, all my other dogs loved it and often took them to the beach for a swim but this one runs away if he gets his feet wet, lol. i'm off to work soon so hope you all have a good day.0

:hello: Greetings everyone
Happy Midsummer's Eve to all!
Me thinks it's going to be a scorcher this weekend.
I was up & out really early this morning, seeing to the paws
and also giving my garden plants a decent drink of water.
rose - we have very clever/devious & noisy Crows here - as
soon as the weekly rubbish bags are put out for collection,
they suddenly appear to see what's on the menu!
Cheeky blighters!
Talking of doggy grooming, I've been 'attempting' to brush
Lab & C. Spaniel every day, what a carry on! :rotfl::rotfl:
It's fine to start with then it goes rapidly downhill. Now, as
soon as they see me approaching with the grooming
implements, they both do a runner! Can't imagine why!
Have a lovely and lucky Saturday all and please take care
whatever your plans.

Ho to the dogs Indie and Alfie. Indie was trying to picture you cutting dogs hair pleased your DS was there to help.
Yesterday I managed to make it to the shops well in fact one shop Bon Marche. I have looked in there and never bought anything but I saw an advert online and looked interesting. Dresses in shop not quite as good as pictures but lots of nice tops. Sizes a bit strange but I managed to buy a pair of cotton cropped trousers and a cotton blouse. Sadly blouse is sleeveless but is ok on. There were several other things I would have bought but not my size will order on line. Assistant in shop said they had had new designs for three weeks and a lot of customers. Meant to try on some shorts but air con not working too hot.
Just had a big smile reading this comp

The second and third posts.
Promised GS visit to park this morning with the kicker football I won. This GS is 7 and was not that keen on football but two visits to park with this ball and he has improved so much. One kick and it is bend it like Beckham. No good for garden ball would be over the fence in no time.
DD2 and family are off to Marwell zoo this weekend. Staying hotel tonight zoo tomorrow. It is their anniversary too.
Best crack on or will be too hot for park. DH gets breakfast.
Hope everyone enjoys the sunny weekend.0 -
Morning all,
Quite cloudy here, don't know where our sun has gone. It is supposed to be out!
Dad didn't get out yesterday so been trying to phone mum but think she must either be out with her dog or off somewhere with one of my sisters.
Have handed all the jobs to sisters now so that we can get ready for our break. Neither of them are working this weekend anyway.
DD coming up for lunch to say goodbye - funny how visits from children always involve meals!
Anyway must get on. Heading off early tomorrow but will pop in again soon.
Good luck to all and hope you have a nice weekend.

Morning peeps. Lovely morning here. Sun is shining. Nice morning for a drive shiels. Hope your dad is doing a bit better today. DIL and GK's are off to DS's Naval Base today as GS is playing in a football tournament there. Not up to sitting in a car for 1 1/2 hours yet or I would be going as well. So I am making a curry for them to come home to for dinner. DIL's mother , Gran and DS's dad are going as well so will have a housefull when they get back. Have to make a chicken dinner for gran as she is not so keen on curry. Hope everyone else has sunshine as it is supposed to be a really warm day.0

Morning, glad you got something from Bon Marche leanfun. We use to have one in our local shops but it closed down so the nearest one is miles away now.Hope you had a good day at the park yesterday. If i came to dinner rose you would have to cook something different for me as i don't eat curry, tried a few but just don't like spicy food. Charlie is the same Alfie, sees me with his brush and runs. That's why i have to give him a haircut..lol. It's already a hot one here today and just going to hang washing out, then water plants. Hope the weather is good to you sheils and you have a good trip.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
Happy Midsummer's Day to all!
It's a beautiful day here too rose/indie - sun is shining
away.
Phew! Have opened all the doors/windows etc to keep the
house as cool as possible.
Brilliant weather for drying washing indie. I'd better sort
some bits and bobs out to wash too - have to make the
most of these sunny days!
Yesterday I was out gardening (in the shady parts) and
doggies were following my every move - think they were
supervising me!:rotfl::rotfl:
Your outing to Bon Marche sounds as if it was very
successful leanfun, cropped trousers and summer tops
are just the right sort of clothing for warm weather
days.
Hope you & GS managed to get to the park yesterday
(before it got too hot), for a kick around with the 'bend
it like Beckham' football!
Sounds a lovely weekend (Marwell) for your DD2 &
family. Wishing them a very happy anniversary too.
Sounds as if you are going to be a very busy bee today
rose. Hope you have a brilliant time this evening with all
the family when they return from the footie match.
Have a wonderful trip sheils, me thinks the weather will
be kind to you!Safe journey.
Have a lovely & relaxing Sunday all and please take care
whatever your plans.

Well I am going to be busy just taken more chicken from freezer. Need to make more curry and another two chicken dinners as I have inherited another 8 peeps, DS's two brothers and their girlfriends and Dil's brother, his wife and two children are coming as well. God knows where I am going to put them all Dining room and kitchen will be full so will have to decant a few in to living room. So oven, hob, slow cooker and halogen oven will be working hard today. Kitchen will be like a sweat box this afternoon. Just as well I have a dishwasher to clear all the washing up.:D Don't mind cooking for them all as I enjoy it. Just hope they do.0
