Happy belated birthday wishes to Leanfun and Rose too :bdaycake: :bdaycake: I used to have it all written down but lost it!
Hope everyone is well, just another swift visit from me unfortunately!
Great result for England :jBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all in fine fettle this morning.
I had a wonderful time gardening yesterday (with doggies).
Sun was shining away accompanied with a nice refreshing
breeze, perfect weather for man & beast.
Mowed lawns, did loads of pruning & ended up having a
really good tidy up. :j Hoping to get out there later today
to carry on, there's always a fair bit to do but absolutely
love being out there doing my thing!
Wooden garden furniture is starting to look a bit tatty so
will have to spruce them up a bit ... another job on the
'to do' list!
Re hayfever rose - apparently the pollen levels are
unusually high this year and there are an awful lot of
people suffering with hayfever, who have never been
troubled by it in previous years. Must admit I've
been sneezing a fair bit of late (used to get it years
ago very badly, then thankfully had a reprieve for years).
Sounds as if you had a wonderful weekend leanfun with
family and the little ones. :j Sorry to hear the weather
wasn't so good in Southampton though. Well done on the
Twitter footie comp win! Sounds a fun prize! I bet GS will
love taking the mock trophy into school!
I've got two faithful hounds watching my every move here -
just waiting until I say the word 'walkies'! :rotfl::rotfl:
Have a lovely & lucky day all. Take care. xx

Morning everyone. Bright sky here this morning. So hopefully sun will put in an appearance later. Alfie neighbour said to try Manuka Honey on top of antihistamines for hayfever. There is no chance. I cannot stand honey. The sweetness makes my teeth want to jump out of my mouth and it makes me gag. May help you though. Off to stick some bacon under the grill for a bacon butty. Take care everyone and be lucky.0

Morning everyone. Not very nice weather wise here been raining since 9pm last night. Does not feel cold though. Hopefully it will clear later in the morning. Neighbour with broken leg is in hospital. She seemingly put a ruler down her cast to have a scratch as her leg was very itchy and broke the skin and over the days her leg has become infected. It swelled up and made cast very tight so hubby took her to A & E. They had to take her to theatre to clear it out and she is now on an antibiotic drip. Her hubby said it stank to high heaven and her leg is now in a bit of a mess. There is afternoon visiting today so going to try and get to see her. (what a plonker. Remember saying to her if it itches not to go down there with a knitting needle as she could burst the skin. She obviously listened but used a ruler instead) Hope everyone is well and weather is a bit better where you are. Be lucky peeps.0

Oh dear rose, your neighbour won't do that again but let's be honest when you get an itch you have to itch it somehow.Hope she is home soon. It's very dull and windy here at the moment but no rain as yet. I am off to work soon, hope you all have a lucky day.0
