The following has been on the news this morning - devastating.

Yes alfie devastating news about the Glasgow School of Art. Such an iconic and historical place. Used to pass it every day on my way to work. Not only that a lot of historical documents and drawings etc will probably have been lost.0

Hope everyone is having a nice day. Was raining last night and this morning but dried up this afternoon.. We went out a walk and visited our town's new multi million pound art gallery. It is pretty fancy and has the famous "The Monarch of the Glen" painting on loan at the moment.
The whole town is so busy as we have a Jazz Festival on and this Gallery has just opened. Starting to organise what we are going to do on our next break which is Coventry and then Portsmouth.
It is so sad about the Glasgow Art school fire again. How disheartening it must be.
Hope you enjoyed the Queen Tribute band rose. Went to a great Fred Mercury tribute act in the Caird Hall, Dundee a few years ago and it was
amazing especially when I saw a pic of what the guy really looked like !
Well done to your DS indie, great prize.
Have fun with your GS leanfun.
Hope you are coping ok with all the pets Alfie.
Must get on and organise tonights meal.

shiels it was brilliant. Guy that sang wasn't a look a like for Freddie but the minute they started and he sang you could have shut your eyes and thought it was him. Pub only charged a fiver a ticket payable at the door but it was well worth it. It holds about 120 - 150 people (it's a big pub) and on normal Friday/Saturday nights it is full even with an ordinary band on.0
