Morning peeps. Looks as if it is going to be a nice sunny day, Neighbours wheeled me to the pub last night. There was a quiz night . We came second again. Last time we were beaten by a team that goes everywhere quizing they beat us again last night. There was only two points of a difference so don't feel too bad. They are probably answering similar questions all the time and reading up on different things. I am really hungry this morning so going to make a couple of sausage sandwiches and a cuppa. Back in a while take care peeps.

Morning Sun out here too today.

Rose sorry to hear your dear sister died so young. Great to hear he children are ok.
A party would be good but to be honest I don!!!8217;t think I am over the shock of last years birthday and my age. Just thankful we have another year. Especially for you after your accident.
Great your neighbour was baking and shared. Bet the cakes were yummy. Pleased you enjoyed the guiz. DH and I went to a quiz when we were on holiday in Malaga in March in a rainy afternoon. Some of the questions were a bit obscure but about five people had all the correct answers. DH was a surprised as he is very knowledgeable and has good memory. Suspicion was use of mobile phone. We didn!!!8217;t go back.

Talking of birthdays one of our DGSs is 5 today. Normal school day today. Party on Saturday.

Alfie lo to your DD and GD leaving you a surprise. Hope they enjoy the flight and holiday. Expect you have been out with the dogs already. You are going to be busy. Is your puddy alright being invaded?

Sheils expect you are all caught up at home now.

Talking of dentists I have a tooth ache so need to make an appointment.

    Firefly love and hugs.

It was light here really late last night. Love the longer evening.

    Be lucky everyone.

    Morning all,

Had a really busy day yesterday - washing, cut some of grass (DH did rest) and helped DH with hedges, walked to shops and had roast dinner for DD at night. Haven't started the ironing yet though. Forecast bad for tomorrow so might leave ironing until then. Hoping to finish the hedges today. Ready for another break I think!
Hope everyone has a lovely day. Good luck.

    :hello: Good morning all

Phew - it's warm here today! The sun is shining away but
    thankfully there's a slight breeze.

Think the doggies can have their walk this evening when
it's a bit cooler. Too warm for them at the mo.

I've opened all doors & windows to cool the house down, so
they can come and go as they please. They'll most probably
'help' me with the gardening later! :rotfl::rotfl:

Neighbour brought me down a padded envelope that had been posted through his door. It is eye makeup remover and a mascara. no idea where from but very wellcome.

Well done rose - very handy win! :T :j :D

Love the sound of scrumptious goodies baked & shared by
    your wonderful neighbour!

I used to love going to pub quizzes although it's been ages
since I last went to one.

I received a message on Facebook this morning from DD to
say they had a brilliant flight and had arrived safely. GDs were
excellent in the plane, very well behaved. :T Mum & Dad had
packed plenty of little games etc to keep 4yr old happy/busy &
rainbow baby doesn't mind where she is, just goes with the
    flow! :grinheart

Lol at my puddy cat and the pets invasion - let's just say she
'puts up with them' - sort of! :D

Hope you manage to get a dental appt this morning. xx

Have a lovely & lucky day all  - take care. x

Yes rain supposed to be due soon and looks like wind will be dreadful.
Bit worried about DD getting back from placement tonight and then having to go out in it first thing in morning again.

Thanks everyone re GS. They gave him a huge 5 helium balloon before school. He had a great day at school. After school DD2 sent photos of him playing in the box his parents had come in. Three year old GD was excited to open the doll accessories we sent her. Hamleys had some great offers.

Rose and Sheils hope everything is ok for you tonight. Weather forecast for the North and your way looks bad.

    Tooth ache gone today.
