    I have stopped to eat.
I had both fittings this morning cancel on me.
But another one took place of one.
I had a few collections and more jobs in. But I have only done one urgent pair of trousers.
In between serving I have been planning the jobs out for the week ahead.
I feel calmer knowing what jobs there are and hopefully I will tackle them better tomorrow.
I have curtains to do at 4 after my last fitting and before I go home. Can't do them when Shop is open when I am on my own.
I am trying to settle the panic mode first.
Organise less jobs per day and take some pressure off of me.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

I REALLY hope that you add the price to your bill for the missed fittings?

    Sending (((hugs)))

It was a blessing really that the fittings cancelled as I was able to sort out a pair of trousers needed and serve in the shop. My head took quite a while to get into sewing mode. To be honest serving in the Shop distraction actually helped me. I also had lots of positive feedback about the Shop and the work I do. I forget that for every negative comment we have done several hundred great jobs and have repeatedly achieved improvements in our number of sales.
I was analysising the sales sheets last night and April was up £1,600 on the same time last year, and May is looking to have been around £800 more.
I will get it on the computer over the weekend and double check.
I was able to clear the overdraft and pay the rent today and actually transfer myself £150 without touching the overdraft.
I plan to put a zip in the skirt I have made for the artist chap and call him to collect what I have done and tell him that I am not going to be able to help him anymore at this time of year as I am far too busy.
I need to take that pressure off of my self.
Biggest spent most of the day in the hospital with the baby. Luckily her husband has had the week off work, or it could have been a nightmare.
The baby has some blisters appear overnight on his leg and the doctor thinks it's some virus that I think he called Scalded skin syndrome?
Where the skin starts to blister as if he had been burned, so he is in hospital having an I V drip of antibiotics while they wait for lab results. She was able to come home, eventually after making sure that my Son and GF were allowed to stay with him in the hospital. The rigmarole you have to go through when it is a LAC child is quite something.
As far as I know the GF was staying in hospital and DS was going to attend the meeting with social this morning. Biggest is returning to the hospital for updates before the meeting. It has been 4 weeks now since that dreaded day.
I am on my own again today at work. I don't expect to see everything on my list. But I am going to have to try.
I did wake a few times but don't remember any weird dreams for a change. I am awake far earlier than I need to be, next doors car shuffle started early today!
Mum is a little better and ate something yesterday. My brother and sister are communicating daily with each other which is a miracle in itself.

So it is the 1st of June.
Let the negativity of May stay in May, and let the blossoms of June shine through!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Great news on takings & good on you for reviewing pace at which you can work xx
Definitely have the conversation with the artist, & stand firm! I'd even suggest that they book on a sewing course with you, if you have one running soon, so they can do it themselves.

Babysitting going quite well because both boys have slept for me this afternoon.
I used my time to book Dgd and myself a self catering holiday at the beginning of the summer holidays.
I decided that I really want a break and something to look forward to with her. Although it's a bit pricy compared to our Easter usual break. I plan to hire a car but I will look into that later.
I feel happier that I have some plans to look forward to now.
Work is still busy but I cannot keep the pace up that I was working on, so I will warn the customers that I will be taking a break and probably close the shop for a week.
Staff can work on her days in peace.
Unless I do take on another Seamstress before then. But I am not making any rash decisions about staff today.

    Long day.
Dgd is Home tomorrow and I still haven't ventured into her room all week.
Better do it before work tomorrow then.
Time for bed and hopefully I will sleep.

Up 3 times in the night, but slept well in between.
    Woke before alarm again.
Guardian funding not in on time again. Since two councils have merged it is very irratic. Worrying.
Dgd is coming home today. She will be excited to know that we are having a holiday after all.
