I only surfaced to get food and drink yesterday. I am just up but I really don't feel very brilliant. Maybe after my first cup of tea I might feel more like it. I still need to get to work. Even if I am not up to speed I need to go in.
I will wake Dgd up in 20 minutes. Just get my body moving first. DS came home around 8.30. Had a shower and went to bed. He had that Parenting course this morning 12-2 followed by the lAC meeting at 2. At one stage the council had them both at the same time of 12 that just shows their incompetence.
I was due to go for it but as it's at 2pm I don't think I will as I wouldn't be home for dgd.
I also would probably want to put my foot in it. Well say something that I shouldn't. As I get older I get less tolerant and tend to speak my mind more. That's not necessary a good thing with Social.
I think I will be best doing a little work and bringing home a bag full to potter through.
Time to finish my tea, top up with paracetamol and face the day.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Well I made it through the day and sewing until now.
It was a long day but I am here.
Spent most of the day making cushion covers, well seat covers for sofas.
The first for my granddaughter cheer leading troop. Finishing off a job Biggest started, but time ran out for her with the new baby on the way.
    The second a customers ones.
Then the usual trousers and a few other alterations this evening.

Amazingly after I had words again with DS his GF gave me £300 towards their rent.
Obviously no where near the amount paid but a good start. I will be able to bank it tomorrow.
    Time for bed.
The rest of the week is going to be full on.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Oops! I locked my son out all night! He tried to message me at 3 am but since my phone updated it has some how gone to a do not disturb setting and only sent me the message at 7am! I feel awful. Because I left my keys in the lock and I had forgotten he had gone out!
I need to check the settings on my phone!

No , you need to remember not to leave your keys in the lock. Don't change your phone, you need your sleep.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Feeling better if still a bit of a cold.
Several collections today, and fewer jobs in, helps take off the pressure.
But Social are piling it on.
I happened to text to ask what is happening about my assessment and he came back with the news they are coming here tomorrow at 9.30 till 11.30!
    Eek.
They have changed the boys till 11.30
So no time for the little things I had planned to do between getting dgd2 to her school 15 miles away and getting back from that for them. No sedate tidy up, washing on, shopping trip etc. Definitely no time to pop in and see Mum.
The boys will also be arriving about the time my family is coming up from Kent!
    Very inconvenient.

Oh and I forgot that yesterday they cancelled the LAC review 1 1/2 hours before it was due to start. Two solicitors not very happy, never mind family.
