Congratulations on the new grandchild!!! That’s wonderful! Am I right I’m saying that this is the first child of three for this year as both twins are also pregnant?

Oh I do so hope you're wrong there ...

But I join in the congratulations for the safe arrival of Biggest's latest ...

Oh no, I am very sorry to hear that. I’ve bern there myself. It must be tough for her with the new babies.

In any case, every child is a blessing so congratulations! How is biggest doing?

How many grandchildren do you have?

I have 9 grandchildren and one step grandchild. And one due in November.
    Too many.
On Wednesday as I took Dgd2 to school, I was walking back to my car and this little boy said "Hello old lady" I had not really thought about how old I looked to children. It did make me stop for a second. But only one.
I am old, and I am probably showing signs of that at the moment.
But it did make me realise that I am not immortal!

Mooloo All grownups look "old" when you're a small child :)

When I was five I remember thinking my youngest cousin was grown up. She was 11 :D

For the first time I can remember I left work and came home early because I really just felt so uninspired and fed up.
Next week hopefully I will get my mojo back. This cold etc has really dragged me down.

I have no enthusiasm at all for anything. I am planning an early night and then maybe tomorrow I will buck up.

there's a woman at my parents care home who has lost all her filters and calls me "fat lady"

It's pretty accurate. I would take old too. I'm still a lovely and attractive woman who just happens to also be old and fat :D

Did I waste the day or did I save my energy? Different ways to look at my day!
I stayed home. I didn't do the work I brought home.
I only cooked, washed dishes, and moved the washing on. I did a little studying but mostly I watched TV!

Probably wasted my day. But I was relaxed.
Tomorrow I will need to bring my A game to the mix.
    Oh well, never mind.

Not sure if I can quite bring my A game, still snuffling, I might reach my C levels.? That may have to be enough.
DS has a string of meetings and appointments today. I hope that they can get some positive results. The first is with the housing officer. The n the Solihull approach followed by a Social meeting that was cancelled last week.
I can't waste my time worrying about it all as I cannot influence any of it.
My focus is on getting Dgd to school, and my self organised at work today.
I feel like I am on a tread mill going no where fast at work.
The new lady is not really productive still, and I need to rethink her role in the business, if one at all.
