A good but tiring day. I did the school run for DGD2 and just got home in time for the Social visitors. They stayed about an hour and a half. Asked the same old questions. I find it pointless asking about my relationship with the children's father when I first met him etc considering he's not really been around for the last 25 years!
They asked what I had been doing for the last 6 years since my sgo order. In a nutshell, weened myself off all medications, learned to use my left side again. Set up my own business and worked. Brought up Dgd and support my family and my Mum.
Where would I put the children if I had them, how would I cope.
Erm probably engage a Nanny, I have been enquiring about my options and have one in mind. Dgd has offered to change rooms, and with her new den in the garden she would have space away from small children.
But have they sorted out my dbc or what ever it is called? Not yet.
Asked my opinion on my Son and also the gf. (Not so easy to answer that one!)
The caters brought the boys for several hours, Twin1, her partner and dgs5 arrived.
We all had lunch and the men started to build Dgds den for her.
DS has a call from housing. Looks like they may have a house swap soon.
Dgd is not very well she has my cough etc now, so we are all settled for the night now and I hope that I will sleep better now. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Happy Birthday Dgd! She's made it to 11
Unfortunately she's not very well and won't be going to school today. On the plus side her Mum can spend the day with her while I plod on at work.
My nose looks like Rudolph and my lips are all cracked. Not a pretty sight this morning.
I have been unwell for a week now. It's time this bug took a hike! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Happy Birthday DGD xxxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Happy birthday to did, and congrats to biggest, family and yourself on the new baby!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

Morning from a house full of snuffles.
Dgd is going to have to come to work with me today. Her cough etc is not good. Can't leave her at home as DS is out this morning with the Contact. Twin1 etc leave for home in a few hours.
Not quite got my house to my self but hopefully soon.
We will have to finish the shed at the weekend. The men went wrong somewhere and will have to work backwards to sort it.
Dgd is happy that we managed to find her a second hand Xbox one. So we will part exchange the PS3 for games I expect. Hopefully DS will guide me on that one.
Just had my shower so I better get ready for work.
As always there are lots to do at the shop. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Congratulations on the new grandchild!!! That’s wonderful! Am I right I’m saying that this is the first child of three for this year as both twins are also pregnant? Are all the babies due this year? How exciting!!!
Happy birthday to DGD. The baby decided not to share a birthday with her after all!0 -
Twin 1 is pregnant, but twin 2 miscarried, I believe.0
