I think fly marketeer is a challenge on Here to sell unwanted items to make a profit or extra cash for yourself.

Thank you for the sympathy and advice, irung drs this morning no appts left so I need to try again tomorrow, she suggested I see a pharmacist but added if it's anything serious like an infection they will tell be to get a Drs appt. catch 22 really

It's raining here as well, so dog walk postponed until 2-ish, when it's forecast to be drier. Ploughing steadily through the wash mountain, but my 2 loads minimum are done. Anything noisy such as hovering will have to wait until DS1 gets up for work at teatime

Mrs MP - I was in that situation with DS2 on the Friday evening before Christmas. Pharmacies can only help with pain relief where ear problems are concerned, apparently. Phoned 111 on Saturday afternoon and ended up at a emergency and urgent care unit, where he was seen and prescribed antibiotics.

Mum0f2 - it's not too bad. I'm quite lucky because I get more or less the same holidays as a teacher. OH does not always work on week days, so we're generally covered. It was harder when the boys were younger (23 and 13 now), but family and friends often helped (or they had to come to work with me :) ).

jojo re the window, roman blind kits? They do child safe ones now. I've made my own before, worked quite well on a bay window with a blind on each section.
valli IIRC some years ago when we wanted to do a flylady weight loss thing we got told to join the existing OS weight loss thread which was why it started on the FB page instead. Different mods now I think so it might be different.

Fruit bowl - good job you said, just removed a pile of gloves from mine (don't ask) and found some gently decomposing plums. Whoops.

The kitchen needs urgent attention - anyone care to join me for a HHC at 1.30?

Dancemum I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mumof2 lovely to "see" you; sorry to hear about Pip - running free in the Summerlands now, though. I currently have a JRT staying - a long-haired one. He's an old friend, first stayed with me 4 years ago.

I've done a WM load, cleaned the Dys0n filters and put a tonne of recycling in the shed; used up the last of the box of washing powder, so that needed crushing down to go for recycling.

I'm running on fumes today; I'll be amazed if I got as much as 2 hrs sleep last night. At one point, Mr LW almost threw me out of the bed! He was asleep at the time of course; but really, this is getting way beyond funny.

I don't think I'd feel comfortable joining the weight loss thread - too many peeps there I don't know. Deffo feel happier keeping it Flylady.

HHC turned into an hour and a quarter but the kitchen looks better for it. Can't do much more till the DW finishes and the wet dog prints dry up so I can brush up before I mop up.
