He is MumOf2 the memory test at the hospital, doctor only wanted him to remember it once he reminded her of it 3 times a day then asked if she remembered his, then he still told me it today. He did get himself worked up a bit today he lost his wife last Christmas but I stayed a couple hours. He’s a lovely sweet man and they never had children but a very full life. They only stopped caravanning 8 years ago.
Digressing when I should be in bed!
Dancemum sorry to hear thatthoughts with you all x
Made tea, sinks been emptied again! Baby steps!
Put myself an approved food order together .... then realised I don’t need all that crap and have nowhere to put it so proudly emptied the basket again! I should do that more often
Valli I hope you get those wishes xx
Back to work tomorrow going to get up early so I can get the washer and drier switched. OH has put me a hanging rail up so can reduce how much we use the drier. About the only bit of DIY he’s done last year that I asked so I am going to make the most of it
I need to get help with my hoarding but I don’t know what will help or how to do it. I’m at 2 large 1 small freezer at home and 2.5 at work. I’ve not even opened one of them for 5 months and I still spent today; all emotion.
Goodnight everyone xxOne day I might be more organised...........

Morning everyone. Hugs where needed which they definitely will be today.
I'm back at the paid stuff today and it is decision week for me.
Going to see what I can fit in from the list before I leave the house. Oh and will update siggy with weight.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I'm waving from my sickbed. Feel rough. Coughing all the time, feeling faint, hot, sweaty, cold, shivery, tired etc. etc.
Guests went home at 6am this morning after a three day stay. I've realised that my friend is hard work, opinionated and bossy. Her kids are badly behaved (one in particular) her dog is neurotic and annoying and both she and her husband drink too much and leave their kids with anyone who will have them while they go off out on a jolly. Feeling carp whilst having to entertain them wasn't great fun. I'm glad they've gone now. DH is being very needy as he's got the lurgy too, but I've not got the energy to pander to him. Sent him to work.
I've really got to get the house under control now. Tea first.0 -
Morning all,
Big hugs and big-girl-pants vibes to all those ladies back at work today, you can do it xx
DH back to work, kiddies off for another week. I've written a long list of jobs for today so they can 'help' with those! Just having a brew in bed then will get up and crack on.
Jazee - big week for you, I'll be thinking of you love x
Dancemum - I'm very sorry for your loss x
Dizzy - take care, there are lots of wretched bugs going around ATM. Xx
Back later xxMFW

Happy New Year and big hugs to you all. Am back after skiing holiday and friends staying over holiday period and DDs both home all of which was great but has led to CHAOS again. So back to business, friends left this morning and OH & DD2 gone to boat to do bits and bobs so I wil get my kitchen and living room back into shape and shove some washing through, (with all the skiing stuff the mountain in huge), OH back to work tomorrow and DD2 staying for 5 weeks as she has work experience here so great to have her home!
Projects for 2018,
Get more organised and sorted in house and keep on top of it
Eat better, move more (aka lose weight and get fit)
Keep track of finances
So nothing new there, same as many people on here.
Other projects
Major administrative task, received requested documents over holidays so can move on to next stage and get nearer to submitting file.
Photos, I fancy scanning or getting scanned paper photos we have so they can be easily stored and can be viewed easilty wherever we are, thinking about looking at digital photo frame for house and holiday house or via pc. Not sure yet if going to try and do scanning myself or use outside service. If anyone has any experience or thoughts I'd appreciate them.
Better get going, so going to put kettle on and then get a load of washing in.
New Years Resolution, BE HAPPY!
See you later, xx0 -
Up, had breakfast, dressed and got load of washing on so that's all a big improvement! S ready for school and Z still asleep - she's on inset training day today but has homework to do that was set before Christmas :wall:
Dizzy sorry you're unwell and sounds like you've had a rough time of it with your guests. Try to rest as much as you can.
ATB good luck with your list!
Catch you all later xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Huh just lost a post. Weighed self and breakfast, cringe. Logged both on mfp. I'm 1lb more than I was last Jan 1 which doesn't say much for last year's efforts including my running programme. Good luck to all flying slinkies.
Hope sick ones get better soon. Sorry about loss dancemum. Nice to see some newbies and returnees.
Off to Zumba now.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all.
I've read through, but not much is sticking, so apologies.
Hello to new and returning flyers. :wave:Nice to see you back Mumof2, sorry to hear about your little jrt.
GWS to Dizzy and anyone else who needs them.
Good luck Jazee with the big decision time.
((Hugs)) to dancemum.
Mademoiselle - photos are something that I haven't yet figured out how to deal with. We have suitcases of them. The really old ones aren't an issue, but it is the ones that we have taken over the years take uo so much space. I can't get my head around throwing them away either though.
Due to the way that the holidays have fallen I am not back at work until Thursday, the same day that schools go back. As it is sooooo dark this morning, I seem to have slept through DH going off to work and all the way until 8.30. Not helped I'm sure by seeing the early hours of every morning recently. That's my excuse anyway.
Natty - you have been looking again!! How did you know that I NEED to do all those things on that list?!
For starters, I must:
Have some breakfast, regardless of the time, if I am going to be [STRIKE]good[/STRIKE] better than the end of last year.
Empty DW and wash up the accummulation on the side.
Put a wash on.
Sort out clean washing.
Oh and DD needs new school shoes. I refused to go before Christmas as I didn't want to get caught up in the rush. Wish I had now.
Catch you later. X0
