    Thanks for all the suggestions.

GTST, I know the feeling....I went swimming a couple of weeks ago... the bum of my costume was inches below my bottom....I was flapping as I was swimming!

I assumed that a costume is supposed to be used for lounging and swimming - I think I may have been out of the fashion stakes for too long.

    I am going to purchase:-

    https://www.barenecessities.com/pour-moi-starboard-halter-one-piece-68015_product.htm?pf_id=PourMoi68015

I am between a 14 and 16.... so will get a 14 in this size, and keep it for best days of the holiday.

and another one that is a 16....... I want to try a skirt one on before I make the jump (I have paid a fortune to have my bits lazered....).

I will take maman's advice.... and not buy three!

bubbs, I have seen your boobs.... they are more than ample!

Mine have shrank..... but the cup size has got bigger to the point it is hard to buy them!

    :D:D:D:D:D

    Like this :)

No to the picuture of my legs.
It would put you off your tea.

Glad you're feeling philosophical about the gains chris and midge.:)

I think we're all different in our approach. Of course, we'd all like to get the weight off ASAP (or ideally by yesterday:D) but life's not like that. In some ways, having some off plan meals or off plan holidays and then getting back on it is far more realistic. It's sustainable as a long term healthy eating plan.:)

I chose as wisely as I could at lunchtime. I had a prawn & smoked salmon starter, refused the bread & butter and just syns in a bit of Marie Rose sauce. Main was pan fried sea bass with veg and crushed new potatoes so just some oil there and a bit of tomato sauce (not ketchup, stuff they drizzled on the plate to look posh!). I had a single (3 syns) gin with my meal. No pudding despite OH and friends tucking into tart and custard. I'd have liked a cheeseboard but I'm trying to be disciplined and wasn't really hungry enough.

Not sure what else I'll have today but will be SW friendly unless I fancy more gin.:D

Undecided whether to do my shop today or tomorrow. Must do my meal plan first. While I'm not going to do SP, I will look for all opportunities to up Speed.:)

  • Love the positive attitudes of the gainers and the holiday makers. As someone has said, life is for living and an occasional treat is OK. I consider that as long as I make healthy choices 99% of the time I should be OK.

That said, yesterday was a tough day. It was a hungry day and my colleague had a birthday so there were lots of treats. I had some - probably went over on syns, but have been on plan today.

Nonetheless, I wrote the following poem in my lunch break. Sums up how I was feeling...

    Maybe

    Maybe I'll have pancakes
Tall, fluffy and fat with blueberries
Crowned with a yellow square of butter

My mouth waters as I pour
    That golden syrup drizzle
    Liquid sunlight

    Maybe I'll have chocolate cake
    Dense, rich and sacchariferous
    Cut through with ruby raspberries

My mouth waters as I plan
    Weighing, mixing, baking
    Delicious, dark chocolate batter

Maybe I'll have a plate of chips
    Golden, fluffy, crisp
    Dipped in snow white mayo

My mouth waters as I prep
    Peeling, cutting, slicing
Piping hot, melt in the mouth

    Maybe I'll have ice cream
    Cool & creamy delight
    With sprinkles and a flake

    My mouth waters
    As I explore recipe books
    Churning, freezing, sweet

Maybe I'll just go to bed
    Put temptation behind me
    Tomorrow is another day

I lost 3lb this week and got joint slimmer of the week with two other people. I was only aiming to lose 1.5lb in order to earn my half stone award.

I ate a bit over my syns today - probably had about 20-25...and tomorrow I'm doing Valentine's Day. Hopefully I can make it up over the course of the week and not gain anything back.

How clever of you lioness . :T

Not sure I can manage 99% good choices though.:o

I was wondering bubbs whether your DH is doing SW himself? Or is his plan to be careful on holiday just to support you? Either way he's very sensible but hope you won't be too good.

I've done my meal plan and shopping list for tomorrow. I've planned lunches as well which I don't usually do. I'm going to buy salad stuff and have mostly SP lunches. My breakfasts are OK. DH plans them and we have plenty of variety. That was a focus of Image Therapy this week, consultant asked everyone what we had for breakfast as she said it's important not to have the same every day. Also warned that baked oats have syns because of cooked fruit.

    ETA: Well done lucia :T
