Wow, some great losses today! Congrats on getting back to target Denise and have a fantastic holiday.
Well it's -1/2 for me again. Why is it so hard to lose the last few lbs.:rotfl:

Oh, I'm with you there - we'll see tomorrow but I'm not convinced I'll have a loss.

Re speed on the side - I do find some of the SW 'rules' a bit strange. I cook with a lot of veg - tonights chilli had onion, garlic, tomatoes, grated carrot, loads of peppers, mushrooms, a very small amount of veggie mince ( because I couldn't fit much in the pan!) and a can of beans, so very little other than veg! It's made 5 portions, so will be lunch for the workers tomorrow - I might be having fish and chips:rotfl: Tried the Aldi frozen mediterranean cauliflower rice today - probably won't bother again...
  • Kathryn, I think you have managed to put me off a skirt costume!

and I know I have said this many times, but I like SW's sausage!

GTST - enjoy your omelette (I had initially wrote ... your your husband...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Bubbs your boobs are bigger than a b cup........ they are gorgeous!

Thanks it was lovely .....never ate an omelette before I joined SW but that was the 2nd this week.

I know I sounded as if I was moaning about the skirt costume but I do actually like them as they hide the thighs ....it alright in the quick dash between pool & changing room normally but when lounging on a lounger staring at them would upset me lol

ooh.... exciting, you could come to Thailand with us!!

    Where are you going?

And were did you get you luggage from.... we went to Debenhams... I got cheap ones, and the boys (who I said I would buy) chose the flipping expensive ones...

I think our tastes change - which is good... we just need to make sure we don't slip.

My issue is my stomach... well my full middle.... I really don't have an ounce of fat on my legs or hips or thighs....... in fact it looks like someone has tied a piece of rope around the top of my hits and under my boobs and blow me up!

That!!!8217;s a lovely swimsuit, Sunshine. I!!!8217;d love to be able to wear it.

    Welcome, Annie.

We went to the garage to see about my car. They were really good and have brought the repair cost down by an awful lot !!!8211; more or less waived the labour cost. It happens to be the garage I bought it from in 2011 and I get it serviced there, so maybe that had something to do with it. So it!!!8217;s getting fixed after all. I do like that car and enjoy driving it so this will give me time to decide if I really want to change it and, if so, what I want to replace it with. I!!!8217;ll hire a car for next week.

Well done, Sugar (every little counts) and bubbs, p00hsticks and Denise.

    Oh, TIE, I understand breadgate!

Glad you had a good break. Mrs_R. Enjoy the rugby.

Not been good so far today and will need to be careful from now on. That!!!8217;s going to be difficult as tomorrow we are off for a cheeky wee weekend to Wetheral, near Carlisle. It was my present to DH for his birthday (which was on Christmas Day). It is snowing here again tonight so I hope it doesn!!!8217;t come to anything.

gained 1/2 lb this week, thats three 1/2 lb gains three weeks running.:eek::eek:
First gain was early celebrations of my birthday, copious whiskey so was expected.Last week I was actually quite chuffed at the small gain, because it was 4 lb gain at one point and I worked really hard to get it down to 1/2 lb.
This week however has been horrendous. So many problems getting Mr Dusty sorted for his visit back home to Africa on Monday 19th,but all that has been eclipsed by worrying news about my granddaughter,35 weeks pregnant. Scan on Friday 9th showed the baby has barely grown over the last 4 weeks.Scanned again on Monday 12th,at least the baby is active but small, and they are worried that if the baby isnt getting nutrients they will have to induce labour as it could become a stillbirth if they dont intervene.Final scan today Friday 16th to see whats what.If they decide to induce it will be on Monday when my daughter (the grandmother of the new baby boy) is supposed to be taking us to the airport!!!:(:(:(
So travel arrangements are still up in the air,we may have to get a taxi,as of course my daughter will want to be around, and anyway will have to take care of her granddaughter.
All this anxiety and stress has been disastrous for thinking about food plans and the like,I have had serious battles to avoid comfort eating, and have had major cravings all week.A box of shortbread has sat there in the sitting room since Xmas without me turning a hair, then this week I ate the lot!:(:(:(Same with 2 bars of my favourite Fry's Cream someone gave me and I virtuously never touched. I scoffed down both of them one after the other never touched the sides in 2 minutes flat, leaving me depressed and annoyed with myself and rather sickly!:rotfl:. Its a relief there wasnt more stuff in the house, but I have gobbled up half a pound of cheese these last 2 days:eek::eek:
Will hear by dinnertime the results of the scan, then final plans will be put in place about getting Mr Dusty to the airport. It never rains but it pours

Thinking of you dusty. Hope you have some good news.:)

We did a similar thing with my car greentiger. Hopefully you can keep it long enough to recoup the repair costs. Have a good weekend.:)

I had a look at my book last night (the weightloss record bit) and I've been hovering around the top end of my target range for almost a year. It would seem that I'm really good at maintaining but I'd just like to maintain about half a stone lighter!:D

We're off out to lunch today. It's a country pub so probably the usual 'classics'. I've more or less written it off but will work hard on my meal plan for the coming week.:D
  • I've been to class this morning and gained +2LB
Feeling a bit cheesed off but I did go out for a meal on Wednesday and did NOT choose wisely. Still in target but as I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a week, I might be out when I get back. Ah well, that's life I suppose and I am going to enjoy my holiday.
Off to get packed, I'll see you all in a week or so.

    +3lb for me :o although that's over 2 weeks.

It's scary how quickly it goes back on when you take your eye off the ball.

Meds all sorted again, so it's back on plan properly - 2 weeks left of this challenge to pull it back, determined to do it :)
