Hellow everyone, can I join in too please. I'll aim for 21lbs by 4th March. I've around 5 stone to lose (how'd that happen??). Meal and exercise plan done, it's sticking to it that's the problem.

Hi all and Happy New Year!

Would it be ok if I joined the challenge? I have lurked/posted on here before and recognise many of you. I'll go for 7lbs off if possible- I don't have a target as such but looking to shift around a stone then see how I'm feeling. I'm going solo but have been to groups before and may rejoin depending how I get on :)

Welcome both of you. I've added you to the spreadsheet.

Totally agree with you Lightbulb, that it's the sticking to the plan that is difficult.

Think I recognise your name Shrimpy. There are a number on here that manage to do it without going to group.

Thanks Kathrynha - yours was a name I recognised :)

I do enjoy group on the whole, we've recently moved and I haven't quite got my bearings yet so I may end up joining yet. Either that or I'll put my fiver in a pot each week and use it for a target incentive :A

Like the sound of the almond oats. Can you please let me have recipe?

    And what does LO mean?

    Baked almond oats recipe

40g porridge oats (just the cheap basic ones are fine)
    1 egg
sweetner to taste (you'll need to syn if you put in a Tbs or more)
    natural fat free yoghurt
    almond extract/essence

Put it all in a basin and mix it all together. Put into a small dish or 2 muffin holes (I use a silicon muffin pan but if you use a metal one you'll need to spray with Frylight). Sprinkle 5g of flaked almonds on top.

Cook on about 190 for 30-35 minutes. I usually turn the tray round after about 20 minutes.

Leave to cool slightly then service with some more yoghurt or quark (prefer quark) and some fruit. Enjoy:D.

I didn't have fruit with mine today as I haven't got any left and refuse to go shopping as going on holiday Friday morning!

I find them much more filling than just a bowl of porridge and don't like overnight oats, find them a bit claggy!

SSM is right LO is left overs.

Bubbs - that's masses of tinned tomatoes! Do you have a whole tin to yourself! Couldn't eat that many tinned tomatoes but could eat the rest of it - and quite often do but usually for breakfast!
