VALM - I'll be interested to hear how you find the Butter London polish, I bought a few of them when Superdrug were selling them off online for £2 ish, they apply really well and the colours are lovely but they chipped so quickly.

sstevo - I'm not making much progress this month either, I hope there will be a load of uu before the end of the month.

redglitters - I've never had any problem with Soap & Glory going off not even the hand cream, the temperature in my house is quite cool and I think that may be the reason why nothing seems to go off.

I forgot about my uu yesterday

Sure Motionsense Anti Perspirant - WMBA but it wasn't super effective, I think I prefer Right Guard but will be looking into something more natural.

I had real problems painting my nails yesterday. I intended to use the BL one but I found the lacquer thin and runny so much so that it flooded my cuticles. The brush kept splitting when I was putting it into the bottle. I then tried using the China Glaze one but the brush was too thin and I wanted to apply more quickly so changed to OIP Coalmates which looked lovely but then I smudged it so removed everything and went out with bare nails - the shame lol. The other brand I received in my box was Artistic. I'll probably try this today. I TA an Avon grey polish too because I decided I don't like the colour.

Another UU from last night : 15ml Elemis PCMC. More in stash.

I UU the No 7 mascara last night too. I guess you were not impressed enough to repurchase. I liked it although was a bit miffed last night as I was getting ready to go out when somed of it flaked off and fell onto my top, I put it in the wash before I went out and hope it's come out.

I liked it actually but I think it dried up quickly. I got it as a freebie and would only buy no7 if on a good offer. Aw I hope it does come out!!
  • Hi ladies, hope you are all keeping warm? It's snowing outside in Edinburgh just now so I am going nowhere :rotfl:

Belated birthday wishes to you sstevo I think it's okay to treat yourself to toiletries on your birthday haha

I have only managed one more UU so far, a very pathetic rate!

    2. S&G Righteous Butter 50ml, I quite like this but I don't need to buy any more lotions for quite some time. Kept the tub to fill up with BS body butter to use as hand cream at work

I have managed to stick to No Buying toiletries for January, however I have booked a holiday for April and need to pay for new parts for my boiler so I have been spending on much more expensive things instead

It came out, thankfully.i know what you mean about No7. I might buy again when the vouchers are out. I opened a Cover Girl mascara this morning. The brush is really bristly.

Hello. Some more UU's to report.

A blue glitter bath bomb. Was a Xmas gift. Wasn't very fragrant and the bath was covered in glitter afterwards lol.

A strawberry mini heart bath fizzer. Lovely smell. Again a gift for xmas. It had a moisturiser in it so my skin felt silky after my bath. :)

Spa deep cleansing face wipes. Cheap and cheerful. Did the job. Only used them at night before bed.

I think my UU's will slow down now as I have started a new shower gel, new facial moisturiser, toner... Also decided to paint my nails in a nude colour called starkers. Lol. I had a major overhaul of nail varnishes a few months ago and this is the last one left. Went on smoothly, dried quickly and has lasted all day so far which was surprising seeing as it only cost 99p.

Total UU so far is 15/62. :)

Another UU : 8m L'Occitane Divine cream. I don't mind using these but WNB. It's too pricey.

  • Thank you Valm and dolly84 for the info on the soap and glory products.
I have my first UU from my PP!

Kerastase Elixir Ultime beautifying oil cream- WNBA (got this in a Kerastase Advent Calendar a couple of years ago) it had a lovely smell and helped detangle my hair but it had some fine glitter particles in it which I did not like.
I prefer some of the other Kerastase leave in blow dry creams to this.

I will have a couple more UU soon, I love how this thread has really motivated me to focus on just a few items at a time and after only a few days I am already seeing progress. Although some of my PP items are only travel sizes Ive deliberately chosen them to give me a sense of achievement and give me the push to continue.

I am adding into my PPsome vitamins as I have a few months stockpiled from winning a competition a few months ago and I never remember to take them.

Pregnacare New Mum vitamins (month supply)

My baby is 9 months old now and these have been sitting in a cupboard unopened since just before he was born. Won the competition when I was pregnant. Have around 5 months worth to get through.
