More UU -
another from my PP this month Decleor aurabsolu eyecream 2.5ml WNBA
Did nothing special, prefer my vichy aqualia eye balm for a lot cheaper.
Garnier Micellar Oil infused wipes-WNBA I could feel a bit of an oily film left on the skin after using these, have replaced with no.7 wipes from stash.
Clarins be long mascara sample size-WNBA I scratched my eyes multiple times with the plastic brush, hated it! I have a couple of open mascaras to get through next.
One TA- Make up forever excessive lash mascara, looked and smelled a bit weird so chucked it.
I am up to 5 products gone now altogether and working my way through loads of opened bits, feeling less need to have to have 5 or 6 of each product open at the same time. I would love to have 100 UU by the end of the year with very minimal INs, just necessitys only. Is this a realistic figure do you ladies think going on your previous experiences? Even more UU would be great but would like to be realistic too and then save save save this year.0 -

My stats for 2017 were UU 112. IN 66. TA 5. GA 19 and for 2016 UU 100, IN 94, TA 7, GA 4
As you can see the UU were great, but the Ins were pretty naughty, I am hoping that I really have had my light bulb moment now:oThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

It really depends on what it is you have in your stash. 100 is 8 per month, and I know I have lean months where I UU 2/3 things, then better months when I UU 7/8 things.
It's easy to get through numbers if you have lots of minis or sachets to use. I get through core stuff at a steady pace - shower gel, moisturiser, cleanser, but other stuff takes ages - body lotion, perfume, lip balm.
Nothing wrong with a challenging target though!Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
UU - Arnaoud Perle&Caviar Range Eye Contour Elixir
So this one was the last piece of a set I bought from TK Maxx long ago. I've used the day cream and liked it but not repurchased. I did like this too but not sure if I'd repurchase. I have some fine lines in the eye area and not sure if this made any difference. It felt hydrating though. I think I can only buy it online.
Also, the little ball bit on top fell so I had to apply it by fingers. Nice enough but that's it.
I have few other eye creams to use anyway. I'm planning to buy Kiehl's Avocado eye cream. Has anyone used it?
I want to paint my nails - it has been a long time that I painted them. Perhaps next weekend.
Last 2 months, I've been on a roll and UU'ed a number of items but next few months won't be the same surely.ally.0 -
No UUs but a few ins:
My hair matters Tropical instant refresh dry shampoo
Sainsburys whitening sensitive toothpaste
2 x Superdrug charcoal toothpaste
2 x Superdrug sugar wax home kit0 -

At least you are aware of your usage and your stats are getting better!I would be happy to get to around 100 UU:)
I have no idea of the actual numbers of my starting stash, I feel too overwhelmed to do a count on what I have, maybe when I have got a few more UU I may face up to it then! I will be glad to just stop the mindlessly purchasing when I have a forgotten mountain of products that Ive spent my money on.0 -

I have a mix of full size products and a ridiculous amount of minis due to a few years of subscription boxes, advent calendars, gwp, samples etc. I can get through the basics at a fair pace too but have seemed to stockpile on some of them too, so I will have a decent mix of sizes to get through. I dont think I have finished a lip balm since I was a teen! I think I will add one into my next PP.0 -

Cien hand cream - WBA but have lots more hand cream
Snoxin serum - found this on the Boots clearance shelf, WBA if reduced, but it doesn't last very long
Aussie conditioner - a 400ml bottle I got in poundworld before they changed into anyamountofmoneyworld. WBA
I don't often go in Pound shops but when I do I now have no idea how much things are, it is a bit of a nonsense now.ChasingSunshine wrote: »Another UU - Clarins Hand and Nail treatment cream 30ml - Have a full size one to open yet. WBA but more for the smell and memories (it was the one my Aunt and Grandmother always used) than because I think its particularly special.
I love the smell of this, I also really like it as it seems to help my nails and cuticles.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I think I have messed with the integrity of my top coat too much and am going to toss it. So TA: Essie Gel Setter Top Coat. Am wearing OPI Got a Date To Knight and two of my fingers again look like I painted them with my eyes closed.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hello everyone! I'm quite late to the party but very new to MSE Forums and I would love to take a leaf out of your books and join this challenge for 2018!
I have a bad habit of buying stuff when I convince myself it's a bargain, but never getting round to using them. Need to do a total stock-take of my cosmetics and toiletries, but for kick-off I think I have about three mascaras that I'm not using up (bought from Poundland when they have maybelline/loreal stuff in!).
I think I will save a fortune if I only buy what I need. You have all inspired me!Debt-free wannabe since Jan 2018.
Total debt: was £39,220.58, now £6,977.550
