Managed a 30 minute walk around the park and feel a bit better after getting some fresh air.

Sat down with OH and made a meal plan for the rest of this week and next. Shopping list made up and comprises of bread, butter, yoghurts, tatties, eggs and ice cream (OH considers ice cream a necessity :rotfl:) so will pop to the supermarket tomorrow.

£9.67 spent in the supermarket so really pleased with that :D. Used up some pigs in blankets and cabbage that were leftover from Christmas, the freezer is practically bursting with leftovers so will be eating a lot of those in January.

Went for a longer walk around the park this morning, was a beautiful day, absolutely freezing though.

Money wise - the bank account reward went in (now down to £2 ) so transferred that to the emergency fund. I also moved £2 to the holiday fund and 50p to the car fund. I'm just waiting for some surveys to be approved on PA which will take me over the £20 mark and then I can cash out :T

Not much achieved today as was sleeping mostly after nightshift. At work again tonight and cold has really kicked in so feeling horrible :( can't wait to get home to my bed :)

Opened some more savings accounts. Even though it was all budgeted in separate pots in YNAB, it feels easier to work out with a separate savings account for each pot.

Phoned 2nd job to see if there was any shifts going for next week but unfortunately nothing that fitted in my existing work shifts.

    It's been a NSD :D

It might not be a bad thing that you can’t get extra shifts if you’re a bit under the weather. Take care

You're absolutely right INOD, better to rest up and get myself back to usual self first. Didn't get a great sleep last night due to coughing but definitely feel slightly better today, my head feels less fuzzy and heavy which is good.

I spent £8.92 on medicine yesterday for my cold plus £13.50 on some groceries - milk, bread, coffee for work, orange juice, fruit and veg.

I've continued to improve throughout the day. I still sound absolutely dreadful but I do feel much much better :D

Yummy roast pork for tea tonight with lots of leftovers for through the week.

It's been a NSD today :D. Not much else to report but trying to get back in the habit of daily posting.

Quick post before bed - it's been another NSD :D

2nd job phoned and offered me a shift tomorrow which I could have fit in after work but decided to say no. As much as I hate turning down extra money, I still don't feel 100% (or even 80% :rotfl:) so need to think of myself first.

Thanks monz :). I've definitely inching towards feeling my usual self.

Didn't get round to posting last night as me and OH had a screen free night and played a board game instead. Yesterday was a NSD and I did manage (a very slow!) 5k run.

Today has been fairly spendy - £14 on a meal out with friends, £42.77 on petrol and £26.36 on food shopping. I bought a few things from boots but used my points. I also bought a new pair of running shoes which were in the sale at £98.77 but had £85 of vouchers/Christmas cash so only had to put £13.77 towards them :T I don't have £13.77 spare for this but I've picked up a shift with 2nd job next week so this will cover.

I actually got £20.76 from PA today so could have used it to cover but I'd already moved it into various pots by the time I went shopping - £14 holiday, £2 emergency, £2 car, 50p clothes, 50p home and £1.76 debt.

Not much to report from today. Was on a late shift so went for a short run this morning to try out my new trainers :). It's been a NSD :D
