47/52 - 1 book and 5 dvds to appropriate charity recycling bin.0

*401 plastic wrappings recycled in collection point at Morris@ns
*402 Christmas presents sent to SF which I'm not going to do next year. Think will be much easier to have something sent straight from marks or Amaz@n. It's just token present swapping for the sake of it, for family relations which are not great at the best of times. Proud I have done it this year but realised it was too much altogether as he also has a present going straight to him from Amaz@n.
Can't claim for packaging for the above as DD brought packaging home with her as I refused to buy anymore after the massive use up.
*403 pack of Christmas cards used up.
*404 big box of cardboard-now in recycling.
I hope everyone seasonal preparations are going well. Tree is going up late but everything good, no stress which is just how I like itDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

1. IF I NOTICE SOME SMALL TASK NEEDS DOING - I WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY
2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I WENT IN - WITHOUT HIDING THE CLUTTER EXCEPT for the wardrobe room which is currently the storage room (sr)
3. THE LAST WASHING UP OF THE DAY WILL BE DONE & PUT AWAY WITHIN AN HOUR OF FINISHING DINNER
Lots of rain
Re my 3 mantras: bed aired & made; washing up done; teabags jar refilled; sugar bowl refilled; coffee jar refilled; general tidying
Week 2: Monday = 1, Tuesday = 1; Wednesday = 1 + delivery boxes broken down & recycled so Running Total = 4; Thursday = 1; Friday day = 1 + used up decorating items binned or to Tip (1) + various items put in loft (1) + from the spare room - two boxes have been emptied/sorted & allocated - binning, shredding, recycling & one bag of donations for CS (1). Running Total = 9
Because of the above, I managed to create a space in the spare room to relocate a couple of crates from the dining room :T - a job for tomorrow!
DH has decorated the bathroom & mostly cleaned up after himself :T but there was a problem with the new light pull - the fixture for the ceiling was too small to cover the original so new fittings ordered & received & will be put up tomorrow. I have just cleaned off the last paint on the tiles & am starting to repopulate the bathroom with its lotions & potions etc.
Happy decluttering

Happy decluttering everyone!0 -
Hi All,
I see you all have been very busy while I have been enjoying my hols. Came back to chaos and a stressful few weeks and a cold. Managed to work but not much else. This weekend wrote a plan and got started.
Yesterday I cleared my campervan of all the stuff I bought back from my sister's a few weeks ago. Most of it has gone to the CS or has been redistributed.
I cleared out my car, full of stuff fromt he allotment and bags of clothes for the CS for from someone at work.
I cleared out the porch which was also stacked with bags of rubbish; I think there is a theme here. I got rid of two jars of picallilli my MiL meant for a neighbour but forgot to tell me and had leaked.
The car is now full of bags which I am taking to the CS in the morning. I estimate another 6 bags taking my total to 61/52 :j
In addition the kitchen is now just about finished so things for there from around the house are going back in after sorting. There are lots of things to do before I will be happy but the house is looking better.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor.
