Thanks Earthgirl, when I first started on my journey I didn't track the little bits and was despondent when I couldn't see a difference in my finances. By logging it and moving it into a separate account it is amazing to see how quickly it develops into a decent amount of money. From that point on I was hooked
£4 from a Pinecone survey tonight
Today at work I received a lovely box of chocolates from an ex-student who had asked me to write her a reference. It made my day as it was such a lovely and unexpected gift. When I got home I flopped on the sofa and opened the choccies, only to find she had managed to squeeze a mini bottle of gin in thereDouble nice surprise!! Really did make my day x

Swagbucks total done for the day, one load of washing almost done, nearly time to drop ds at the station then I'm heading for a retro jumble sale. Haven't been to one in years, used to love them as a kid, never know I might find some bargains that I can stick on ebay there
I'm having my haircut this afternoon (had to book it during footie time ), tomorrow ds and I are going suit shopping for his assessment day and prom. Not looking forward to it as (a) I haven't budgeted for it and (b) he is a complete nightmare to shop withMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

The jumble sale was small but decent stuff, I got a grey wool jumper for me and a pistachio green bolero cardigan (per una) which I may keep buy may ebay. I could hear that little voice in my head saying "you've just decluttered!" every time I picked something up :rotfl:
Today I met ds and we did the suit shopping, it wasn't too bad at all to be honest. He settled on a grey one from M&S in the end, there were lots of blue ones but the grey suited him better. It was £99 then another £15 for a shirt and £5 for a tie. I think I got away quite lightly compared with parents of girls who spend £££ on prom dresses, hair, nails, spray tans etc
Tonight I've had my bath and was just struggling to stay awake when the tesco man turned up, an hour early, asking if I'd be happy to have my shopping early? It made my night, now I can get into bed nice and earlyMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I've bought my brothers birthday present tonight (Amazon prime trial runs out tomorrow
), so I need to transfer the money across from my gift fund.

And another weekend rolls around
This week:
* £5 from an ebay sale
* Yet another useless CSA conversation - they have now decided they do need me to provide evidence that he doesn't have ds 2 nights a fortnight. I've been offering to do this since August but they've repeatedly said I don't need to ...
* Ds has his assessment on Monday - not sure if I've mentioned this - he applied for a job at the train station, completed an application online, then had to do an online assessment and has now got to go to their hr building and do another assessment. If he gets through that then he'll get an interview  He's dead scared but it will be good for him.
* Today I have a craft fair with my cards, fairly local, not a big one but I had a fairly empty day so I thought it wouldn't do any harm to try my luck there. I'll report back later with how it went.
Not much else to report at the minute, ds is at work this morning and then seeing friends later, I'm having a mooch on here for a bit before I pack the car up ready. Tesco order has been done, swagbucks goal has been metMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
