So today I had another phone call from the child maintenance people ... they have spoken to him and they've realised they have made a mistake and the assessment they sent me is all wrong and I need to ignore it and they will start it again and it will take another few weeks   So yet again, for another month, he can contribute whatever amount he chooses and there's nothing I can do about it  I'm so so so fed up of it all. How can I possibly budget when I never know what I'm getting, even when they say categorically he will pay a certain amount, then they change it on the day he's meant to pay   They are just as useless as the csa wereMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

He sure is but nonetheless he has his duties as an MP. As a former civil servant there is nothing guaranteed to get government department moving more than an MP's enquiry. They give them top priority. Worth a punt.0
