    I've also added in my extra tax credits payment (paid every 4 weeks so this is the one month in the year that I get 2 lots :D). Added to my signature,this means that once Decembers savings (£350) is taken from my wages then my brothers fund will stand at £15403, meaning I need £97 to reach my years target for my brothers fund, whoop whoop :j :j

    Great going on the payback amount for your brother, I hope you're paying it over to him so you're not being penalised by tax credits for having savings! Not sure where they get their idea of "income earned from savings" figures from, ive yet to find a bank paying interest at the level they seem to think is achievable.

    Might it be worth dropping some cards into older fashioned hair dressers? The older clientele who visit weekly for a shampoo etc would be a great target market.

    Weekend time again :D

    Tonight my next door neighbour came round, he is moving :(:( He and the lady opposite are both selling their houses and buying one together locally. He has lived here 22 years, she has lived here 35 years. They have been together as a couple for awhile and decided to both sell up and get somewhere together. I'm gutted as they are lovely neighbours :(

    This weekend the plan is to start a revision plan with ds, get his homework up to date, get the washing and ironing up to date and generally have a quiet one.

    So today I popped to Tescos for petrol (had a voucher for 10p off a litre, so saved me £3.30, and Tesocs is the cheapest around here anyway for petrol). I also popped in and got a few food bits, including a big pack of mince that was reduced to £2.40 and have just amde a bumper load of bolognese which will be portioned up and frozen. The freezer is pretty full at the minute so I am going to meal plan for this week using up stuff from the freezer;

    Today - roast lamb
    Monday - beef casserole
    Tuesday - sausage pasta bake
    Wednesday - lamb tagine
    Thursday - spaghetti bolognese
    Friday - fish pie

    All of those meals are from the freezer and all the meat / fish in them I have bought from the reduced section :money: - I may need to get a few veggies but otherwise that is a pretty decent set of meals :D

    The lamb for today is already in the slow cooker, potatoes and carrots are peeled, I may make some flapjacks this afternoon too.
    Other than that it is a footie afternoon with some ironing thrown in for fun :)
