So I'm now on a mission to save clubcard points. Since we moved house I tend to go to Sainsburys as it's around the corner, but Tesco clubcard points can be used towards Royal Caribbean cruises. I am desperate to go on another one
So, I already have £300 in the holiday fund, I have £100 in the £2 jar and £45 of clubcard vouchers (which are tripled) so in effect are worth £135 towards a holiday. Total at the moment = £535.
Now, one cruise that I like the look of is 14 days around the med next July. It currently costs £1039 pp, so £2080 and then there would be gratuities to go on top of that, so roughly another £200. So lets say, with insurance, I would need £2300. So roughly £1800 to findThis is all pie in the sky at the minute, as my income will be dropping etc next year so I really shouldn't even be thinking about another holiday, but I feel we will both be in deperate need of one once we've got through GCSE's next year. For now it's just a pipe-dream, but I will start seeing how many clubcard points I can rack up, back in the day there were so many ways of earning loads but that has largely dried up now. I'm sure there might be some still out there though

I’d pretty much given up on Tesco. Perhaps I need to get back into it. We’re just back from a eastern med cruise with marella, but I’m happy to give another company a go and if we can get it reduced, so much the better.0

Sainsburys is convenient because it's so local but they are more expensive than Tesco by quite a way - for example, ds lives on bourbon biscuits. Sainsburys they are 40p a pack, Tescos are 36p a pack but their pack is double the size of Sainsburys.
In reality the cruise is very unlucky to be next summer, hopefully the one after, but I can dreamMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I've reached my first and second goal on Swagbucks today, I've tidied upstairs, hoovered and made the beds. All windows are open while the sun is shining
The washing machine is on yet again, I've ordered tickets for ds and I to go and see Bohemian Rhapsody on friday night (had clubcard vouchers that I'd already redeemed for cinema tickets).

And just after I'd decided to save my Tesco vouchers ... Royal Caribbean have announced that Anthem of the Seas will be back in the UK in 2020 - this ship is bigger and better than the one we went on this year, it has dodgems, a skydiving simulator - everything you could possibly imagine! Anyway, that's now the plan. November 20th is when they are announcing the cruises for that year, that's what I'm aiming for, a holiday on that ship would be amazing
It does mean I don't get one next year but realistically that was always going to be a push. I'd rather wait and go on Anthem

So today has been a pretty amazing day all in all ... Anthem is coming back, someone has contacted me on facebook to see if I want to sell at their Christmas fair - now it's too far away for me to get there and wouldn't be worth my while, but I'm dead chuffed that I've been seen on facebook by someone other than my friends :j :j
Plus ... I just had my bath and when I got out ds was sat doing some homework   Honestly, that has literally never happened ever before!!
Oh, and 2 ebay items have sold today ... 99p each :rotfl::rotfl:
Dinners nearly ready (chipolatas & yorkshire puddings filled with beans and cheese) ... don't ask, it's one of ds' favourite dinners and we rarely have it. Then a nice chilled out evening ahead with the Apprentice at 9Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
