A slow Christmas fair today, it was chucking it down with rain so most people stayed at home I think :o I'm not too hopeful for tomorrows as it's at a pub that is out in the country, so not really any of those people who happen to be passing just popping in. Having said that, it is a pub with an amazing reputation for it's Sunday roasts, and they're always fully booked on Sundays, so hopefully people will mooch with a nice full belly and spend some pennies :D

One thing I've learnt already with it is that there is absolutely no way to predict how an event will go :)

This evening I've got the washing basket under control, the kitchen is tidied and the dishwasher is on. At least the place is under control. I have this event tomorrow, then a Christmas fair on thursday after work and one at a primary school on friday after work ....

Yesterdays event was lovely, it was in a converted barn that was filled with twinkly lights, xmas music playing and it was a proper festive atmosphere, I really enjoyed that one. I took about £65 so was happy with that :D

I've got more events this week; Thursday evening, Friday evening and Sunday. I've just done another order which will hopefully be my last one now before Christmas, now I just need to sell stuff :D

Thanks Beanie :) If you're interested in signing up to our Customer Club, please do - basically it's a bit like a loyalty card, they will send you the odd email, currently they are doing a free gift with all orders (a sheet of gift wrap and a card), but they are planning on doing discounts and free delivery for customer club members. If you (or anyone else) are interested please go to: https://www.flamingopaperie.co.uk/web/joharding

and click on the customer club link. It costs you nothing and you can unsubscribe at any time :)

Home from my second event in a row, yet more learning ... last nights was very poorly attended, there had been little advertising locally so not great, but I did get a couple of sign-ups for my Customer club. Tonights was a primary school Christmas Fair, so well attended, however the external stallholders were placed in the very last room that people got to, and by then parents were frazzled, kids were hyper on too much sugar and excitement and the whole place was very chaotic for a friday evening after a busy week at work :rotfl:

BUT ..... I have some fabulous news to share with you all ...

Last night when I got home, there was an email from head office to say they are launching a special offer for December - free postage and packaging on all orders online, no minimum spend required :T :T So, if you have been thinking about trying a card or two please do :):)

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, personally I would recommend the 6 x 6 greeting cards over the 5 x 5's, they just look better value for money iyswim.

I'm going to be doing an advent countdown on facebook, highlighting one of my favourite items each day up til 24th December, please send me a pm (click my name in the lefthand corner of this message) if you want the facebook link.

It is still worth joining the customer club as you still qualify for a free gift (& free p&p) and other ongoing offers :rudolf::rudolf:

In other news it is a new month, so today will be spent sorting the banking, moving money to various accounts and generally getting it all under control before the mad month hits!

I'm dropping ds at the station in a bit then going to do some Xmas shopping at last, plus a big food shop that is desperately needed. Then home for an afternoon in front of the telly with the footie, clear my inbox of surveys, clear the washing pile and generally catch up on myself.
