Dolly84, you have prompted me to look in the drawer where I keep gift wrap etc. I know I have gift bags in there that I have kept, which I will never use. I will put them on freecycle, and if nobody wants them, they can go in the recycling. Thanks for the inspiration

Has everyone seen the new passport price rise in March? I haven't read up too much but if any one is due a renewal in the next 9 months it is worth doing ( you can carry over 9 months) before March.

Off to Aldi tonight ro get some fresh food & then out for a run. did 2 miles last night, need to build it up.

Yep, NSD 19 and praise from DH who noticed the change in the colour of the skirting boards and bannisters. It is so much lighter on the stairs already. The dark brown is banished and the white looks great.

Tomorrow is planned spend day as boiler service man is coming.
I might give him a cheque though.

Was a spend day. Had to go to the hospital where my Dad died to get the death certificate sorted out. Got 5 of the death certificate. Sent 2 off to my brother special delivery which should get to him tomorrow by 1pm so that he can start to sort things out. Also went to the Funeral Director to give them the necessary documents. Saved my brother travelling all the way from Somerset. My friend came with me to support me.
Only did a small bit of exercise and a small bit of decluttering.
Going to have a chilled out evening.

Today I am grateful for the moon (so bright!), for a frosty but sunny day, for plenty of walking, for finding df gf choc eclairs for dd in sainz, for seeing a good friend, for my workout, for the snowdrops and croci bringing colour to the garden, for 85% choc.

Sorry to hear about the burglary nnn I hope you get the new security features installed soon to help ease the anxiety.

EE i currently get paid for 5 days and work 6 so my thinking is that if I get paid for 4, then I will work 5. Hope that makes sense. I’ll still have to do 100% of my responsibility as a head of subject but would only teach and be at school for 4 days a week. I guess I’m just feeling a bit deflated and knackered and want some light at the end of the tunnel.

Spendy few days as I was away for a friend’s birthday weekend and celebrated mine whilst we were there. Then came home for a family birthday meal. I got lots of lovely vouchers so I’ll save them to treat myself.
