greent - Hope you get well soon.
Was a spend day. Had to do a food top up. Used price guarantee voucher £6.16, so food shop was £1.14. Entered a 5K charity event, should have been £14.99 entry but had code and it cost £10.49. Ordered buddybox for February should have been £21.50, but was given a code so it was £19.35. Brought 4 blouses from a cs for £4. They will be used to wear to work.
Grateful for:
Saving money today.
Walked into the town centre for shopping and back home again. Half an hour walk each way.
Managed to do a little bit of decluttering.

Today I am grateful for time with dd this morning, for a smooth train journey, for my yummy sarnies on the journey, for knowing that I cheered my mum up (however temporarily it may be), for a good walk, tor catching up with an old friend, for doing a workout, for dd having had a great day, for the 15min wash meaning I'll have clean clothes tomorrow!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

A NSD for me. No sleep again last night but have got to the bottom of the magazine pile (still need some sortting into categories but a much smaller amount to deal with). Had a bath and washed my hair which felt good. I was debating whether or not to go to the doctor's but had a text from mum's cousin. She brought me roses for my birthday (flowers not sweets) and a card. I decluttered the bottle of prosecco to her. Have offered to have her daughter's dog once a week when I am back on my feet - apparently I might have got landed with it at New Year as cousin was away at eldest daughter's and youngest daughter hadn't booked time off for the school holidays.
Packed my party food (quite modest, some sandwiches and dips with veg mix for me and chips for mum but splurged on desserts - we ate half a hot choc fudge cake). Relaxing evening and feeling chilled out and mellow - not sure if it's from finishing the mag pile or just getting through this week.
There is a new exhibition opening at the library tomorrow. I am hoping to go but will go later in the month if not. I had planned to 'go' somewhere (a day out) either tomorrow or Sunday, but because I am still recovering I think I will leave it for another weekend. May just have a pottering weekend and be grateful for anything I get done (beating myself up won't get me anywhere).
Today I am grateful for lovely food, a relaxing day and getting another section of the declutterathon tackled. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Today was a NSD!! NSD 11
I have accidentally reduced my filing by half. I have the most enormous recycling bag full of torn paper now. Statements, bills, memberships, etc going back 6 or 7 years. All gone now. But so had the entire day, it all started because I got a letter from the remortgage company asking me to fill out a form, that asks for account numbers for everything so I got the files out, and that was that.
Did not finish the form online, but did reduce masses of paper. Unexpected but productive day.
Hugs to those who need them
greent - feel better soon. It is terrible when your stairs conspire against you. Such a betrayal.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

No further NSD's to report, Thurs we had a power cut due to high winds so getting 3 people ready with only torches was interesting. Didn't even consider that it wouldn't be back on when I got back from work but the radio mentioned some people were still off so I checked the website and my village were still off so stopped for chips on the way home.
Luckily the power came on not long afterwards but my god the house was freezing as no heating as all linked to electric.
It did make me wonder how people managed years ago, DD was having a hissy fit as she could not charge her phone!!!!0 -

We are scarily dependent on it now. I think we should all have a contigency plan even if just for the short term, I plan to buy some canisters for our camping stove in case we need them and some meths for my beloved Trangia so at least we can cook plus we have a multi fuel stove so can keep warm too.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Janus - looking forward - I have started to look and see what is on in the local area for excursions, half term and random festivals to stick in my diary to look forward to. Can't just be excited about Agents of Shield returning soon.
Activity - none. this must stop. Not been to the gym once this week (yet)
Non negotiables NSD 11, not sure about today. DS4s coat has disappeared from school (grrrrr), they need new white shirts, trousers and the school brought out a new sweatshirt/hoodie at the end of last year, and mine are still in the old one.
Unabashed devotion to your goals Still within budget. I went down to under £10 in the bank, but then more money came in so ok again.
Always I need to meal plan for this week.
Reduce, re-use etc Blitzed the filing, reduced it hugely, it will be recycled.
You I am neglecting myself. Well, I am feeling sorry for myself. My kids are growing up and I am not in the Willi Club. I am surrounded by mini-men-in-the-making. About time they learnt to cook.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Quick check in. Laptop still out of commission. BF has put my budget on his laptop, thank goodness for portable harddrives and weekly backups.
Nothing has been spent as I can't check my budgets constantly, so its helping with my NSDs
Janus - 12 Months target to repay Mum. £470ish/ £3000.
Can't remember exact total, as BF has gone off with my phone to shopping (to catch me a pokemon on the way) I can't check the bank. Pleased with the progress of the pot building up
Activity. Crochet & keep active.
Had a couple of days off exercise wise, but still on track with marathon training. Still knitting away too.
Non-negotiables:
-[STRIKE]18[/STRIKE] 25 NSDs 19/25
