A NSD for me. Still plodding with the decluttering. Made some progress as another carrier bag of rubbish (keep stuffing it in) and another sackful of paper went out yesterday. Think I need to tighten my criteria - I keep chanting Do I love it?, do I need it? I have become very aware of thigns I have bought with the craft group or a member of the craft group in mind, rather than what I need. Should have another two carrier bags worth to go back to the centre (hopefully by tomorrow or may be Wednesday - this would give me time to get rid of more eg the old coke boxes I have been saving to stick templates onto).
Did a clothes cull and have a temporary reprieve on a few more items - if they haven't been worn in the next 3 months they are going - sometimes it's hard balancing all the 'needs'. I needed to step outside my comfort zone and try brighter colours (90% of my wardrobe was black/ faded to grey) but some of the items are still in the wardrobe - all cs purchases so can be set free and bring joy to someone else. Also have 3 dresses that are nearing the end of their life - will wear for crafts and then demote them to painting clothes.
Today I am grateful for a hot bath, my lovely bed and for the problem of having 'too much stuff'.'My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Today was NSD 8 whoop whoop!
Janus: making my lists, I have a plan!
Always :Baked today, so all the kids lunches will be from stores - made a fake H&B steakless bake which the kids heralded as a success. Good job as I had made them for their lunchboxes already. If it had not turned out well they would have gone into the freezer and reappeared as my lunch instead. Baked and iced buns too and used up some CHESTNUT PUREE (what was I thinking? Even if it was YS??? Must have been having a very bad day) from the larder, by adding cocoa and icing sugar it made the triple layer sandwich chocolate cake an after dinner success, more amusingly I had them all guessing what the mystery ingredient was. They have some imagination! Even when it got down to,' it's a type of nut' it eluded them.
Made it to the gym 3 x this week, it will be more next week. Work in progress.
You time. Caught up on all the Only Connects I have missed with it being all over the schedule recently, and really enjoyed Star Trek Discovery too.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Reporting in a NSD for yesterday, cleared some bits from FIL's flat and had enough bin bags etc but today I have had to get more so today has been a spend day.
Have also made some money for the s-t-r-e-t-c-h challenge, £19.91 from PA and £5 from SB - both paid into Paypal and has been withdrawn, once it hits my account I will put it into my little savings pot called 'Extras' - quite what I am saving for I am not sure.
Hope you all had a good weekend0 -
Hi everyone, keep going mothernerd, it sounds like you are making huge progress. My wardrobe requires a similarly tough review I think. Am awkwardly up and down between two sizes at the moment (both a little larger than I'd like).
NSD here too, saved by DM who visited and bought with her the one item I needed from shops, and who mended some broken things for me to give them more life, and who put up with my distractedness over the fast approaching Monday. Yuk.
Guests in and out. New one has already asked about staying next week as well, would be helpful if that comes off! Other than that, chores, walking, and not much else today!0 -
Sneaking in to make my first update for the month. Started well then all fell apart as DCs went back to school and picked up the start of term lurgies and shared.
Today hopefully sees us back up and running smoothly though the weather forecast tomorrow may impact progress.

I'm hoping for a quiet day today. The boiler is limping along, it is working at the moment but has died again since its repair on Friday, luckily we managed to fire it back up. It is being replaced on Saturday so that is a big, big spend. Most of it will come from our EF which shows the importance of having it in the first place and also being able to part with it when needed.
I have harissa chicken in the slow cooker for tea for me and DH, kids won't eat that so will do them something else - I love cooking 2 or 3 meals in the evening - not.
Its raining here but I still need to take the dog out, may run later or do a T25 dvd if the rain is heavy. I sold an item on ebay so that will be posted today but it is the buyers money not mine.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning everyone.
Just caught up on everyone's posts. So much happens so fast!
I was with family Friday and went out and ended up spending money as we always go out for lunch. Dad bought that but I paid for parking and bought Mum a little something and that's ok.
However... Saturday and Sunday were not. I decided to restock - it was needed. But instead of just taking cash... I went around and saw so many offers! Things I normally buy reduced. Suddenly I was at the checkout and overspent. Sunday I felt on a low and went out again and bought a load of rubbish comfort food. Despite spend, I was given some money by folks and won £65!!! - and so I'm in a positive balance still - but annoyed with myself for the lapse in my focus and will power!!!
I have a week off now. First proper time off to myself since July so I plan to rest, recharge, and get back on track with everything: Exercise, diet, money, meditation - get my life organised.
Today = NSD number 10
Today I am grateful for:- Time for a reboot this week

Good afternoon.
Going to be another NSD.
More decluttering.
More e-baying.
Made some bendy veg.soup that should do for lunches for a few days.
Using up some more of the chicken I cooked on Sat. for tea.
Ordered a small chicken but as they didn't have any sent me a medium one at no extra cost. Very nice, but it's rather big for one person.
