Printer problems this morning . I have to print out another 80+ pages for tomorrow's assessment .
A good hour was spent this morning doing various live chats with the folk at HP . They seem to know when my ink supply is running low.
I had error messages when I was printing out the last lot .
Anyway after being prompted to clean the printing area and remove the magenta cartridge , hopefully I can print .
Looking at where I had the pages, I realised that the notes were not on my computer , but on an app called scanner pro.
New cartridges are on their way .
Just been on another long walk . Slightly longer today . Thing is , I look like a juggernaut . People still walk out of my way .
I was gonna go to the gym but decided against as I will be seeing mr trainer on weds at his new abode . So in a way I've still done something .
Got a couple of messages from universal credit . The appointment with my job coach has been put back to the same day as I see Mrs doctor . Common sense really . Hopefully she will give another fit note and that will give me time to try and improve my health and lose weight and eventually look for a part time position .
I assume kids are back at school . I'm hoping that the kids in 5he communal area was a one off . It would be devastating having to look for a new flat after more or less settling. We'll see . I've overcome the major problem of my previous life ,so have to be ready for anything .0 -
You can't afford to move again. This (and the leasehold fees) was why people suggested getting a house a bit further out.0

Good point gigervamp . I could go to another area . Last resort etc
What could happen is that the flat upstairs may become available for sale again at some stage . I would say that this flat would sell due to the new bathroom kitchen etc and it's the legal fees and surveying costs that are the main obstacle . Having said all of that , I may be over worrying and that as an owner I should have more clout than those who are renting . The kids haven't gone back to school today
They are out on their bikes , but not running up and down the stairs etc. We'll see0 -
I wasn't suggesting you move to another area, just saying that this was why it was advised when you were originally looking to buy. Unless you get a job, you can't afford to move now, as you need what savings you have left, to pay the leasehold fees going forwards.0

Any news on the assessment AC?0

Yes there is
Okay , time for another catchup ..and another reality check .
I had the assessment last Tuesday . The assessor was a nice young lady who seemed very understanding and tbh I expected a lot worse .
I do have a feeling tho, that the longer I am off I will have tougher assessments basically forcing me into doing something .Anything .
The assessor seemed to understand my condition , she had all of my documentation also . I was asked to explain how it all started .
I won't ramble too much about that, but just for the record :
Back in spring 2014 my left eye was bloodshot for weeks . I ignored it until I went to a pharmacy and the pharmacist said that it's better to go to the doctor . So the next evening I saw mr doctor and he just said " get the hell down to moorfields eye hsp"
The next day I went to work and around 8.30am I did indeed go to moorfields and that's when everything started . I had to go to Kingston hsp as well and didn't get home till about 7.30 pm after cat scans , examinations etc .
Anyway , back on track with the assesssor: I was told that there were things to test on the medical bed but I don't have to do them if I don't feel able . I did do it as it shows I'm willing and hopefully look favourable on the report . So that's that .
Onto this morning . I saw Mrs doctor and she kindly gave me another fit note . That is until 31 March next year ! She tested my blood pressure . " perfectly fine ."
However, she checked my pulse , and I am going to have an ecg as my pulse was slightly jumpy . So I have that in the surgery on 1st Oct
TBH , I think it's down to eating too much rubbish and I need to cut it all out . Crisps have been gone for 2 days , but in reality I should have kept up the good work since seeing mr trainer when I stopped them for many months . No more . The chocolate consumption has to be reduced also . That will be harder , but doable . I have to cut back in general . I was doing so well last year , but this year I've slipped .
One other thing : my right eye has been problematic for a few weeks
Mrs doctor gave me the no of the eye dept in Bournemouth . I'll probably make an appointment and get someone to look into it .
So, from there I went to the job centre and handed fit note .
The job coach is polite , young and a bit wooden . I have a feeling he will force me into something before the end of 2020. We'll see.
I will get the fitness assessment sent to my journal ,and probably my home . It will be anytime within the next month or so .
So that's the (un) healthy side of things .
Saw mr trainer yesterday in his new abode . It's in Bournemouth so a bus ride away. I did mention that I wasn't too sure whether to pack in dw fitness in branksome where I normally go. He did say eventually I may be able to pop in to his gym eventually and finish with dw .
A lot to weigh up .
I've been walking as you know , so we'll see what gives .
So, it's goodbye to James .( is that a song?) . Like builders in general he is avoiding the small jobs that people have . I'm gonna look for a local handyman to fix the kitchen extractor . I will get some screws for the tap , hoping I get one that fits . It may be better if I got a new tap. I also have to increase pressure of hot tap in kitchen by adjusting a valve .
I haven't touched any alcohol since bank holiday weekend .
I need to get back to my once disciplined self .
I think that's enough for now0 -
Have a look on YouTube for instructions on how to fix the tap, and the extractor fan.
You might as well cancel the membership with DW, if you don't go there now your trainer is elsewhere.0 -
At least you know you are covered until March 2020. You are doing very well handling all the UC stuff.
You sound like me with the crisps. They are my weakness. I think the Kett*l brand have drugs in them. I have to leave them alone. Have you tried cashews? I dry roast them and although they are fattening as least they are good for me and don't seem to set off bad eating...
I haven't drunk any alcohol all September and feel better for it.
It's a shame about James as he got lots of money from you and you treated him very well.
It all sounds good to me AC. Keep going and keep walkingIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
