Hi moo:)
Just back from the gym . The plan now is to complete the council tax application , then go through all of my emails and check out anything that may be out there . Plus updating the u c journal.
Interesting with the prednisolone dosage . It's just like a small dot that I'm taking . If I don't have any reactive symptoms then I may not take any more after 2 weeks when I've emptied the containers . That'll be interesting .
Mr. Trainer is telling me to throw away bread. I never had a session with him today though . He thinks that if I can get rid of the pred, then I can get rid of the bread . Something like that :rotfl:0 -
Well I've filled in the council tax application . I haven't posted it yet.
Not sure if it's worth bothering , as you have to have less than £6,000 in savings . Don't you just love the gvt . Bring on the yellow vests..0 -
Well done on council tax application :T
Not sure I could give up bread - that's a step too far for me. Perhaps sort the pred out first and see how you get on?0 -
I couldn't give up bread - I love toast, lathered with butterDebt free and Keeping on Track0

Stop making me hungry
Anyway, I don't know weather to apply for council tax ,or wait for a couple of months so that I can get below the £6,000 savings limit .
So annoying ..0 -
Are you sure the savings limit is £6,000 AC? I thought they just tapered the reduction if your savings between £6k and £16k? Surely worth putting the form in anyway now?0
-
You've filled it out, so you might as well send it in. And I too thought it was tapered.0

Thanks gigervamp and moo:)
It goes through everything ,asking everything you have. I have 2 nationwide accts( one of those is a current Acct). Both added together equal less than £6,000 . It's the £5,000 I have in the Skipton account that's the problem . I never disclosed that .
If you have more than £6k then you have to send original documents
I dated the application with Monday's date .
You can go to the council , and wait to be seen . I won't be doing that.
Still , I won't let this get me down over the weekend . .0 -
AC, you MUST disclose the Skipton account, or you could be had up for fraud! They do check.0
-
So you're a bit over the minimum amount and they'll probably assume that provides you with some income and deduct a little from the council tax support for that, but you won't know how much until you submit your claim. Disclose all your savings AC, not worth trying not to. Count this as practice if it helps?
I recently had to take originals to my council to support a claim. Took 2 minutes whilst they scanned them into system, with no waiting. Your council may be more or less efficient
Anyway enjoy your weekend - worth getting out in the sunshine if you can and back to the job search on Monday0
