Loving the sound of your flat being immaculate AC and good luck on job application. If ebay does not work with selling yourself then gumtree is another option. Hi enthusiastic
Thanks for the input . Crates sold and collected. No need for bumtree on this occasion . Everything seems to be going in the right direction in terms of organisation ...finally .
I'll keep plodding along on the job front and see what gives ...0 -
Yay AC sounds like a really productive day
Sounds like a show flat now and good work on the council tax thingummy chasing too.
As for long application for hospital admin job, great idea. I know it's tedious to fill in a long form or similar but it tends to weed out the competition and allows you to fit yourself to their job better. Good luck with it!
Have a lovely weekend you deserve it :T0 -
Well , a strange weekend . I decided to visit my friend and give him my old Mac computer,so went over there and saw the family etc.
When I came back , I just finished supper and half of my flat descended into darkness and all the sockets stopped working ..
I looked into the electric box ,and the trip switch kept tripping..
I went up to my neighbours to see if they had any issues . That was hard work, and I was none the wiser. I opened the riser cupboard n the communal area to no avail. I then asked my other neighbour on 5he corner . He came in and investigated , but none of us knew.
So I decided to unplug everything . That was a pi ta moving the washing machine etc . For some reason ,after plugging everything in ,everything works..for now .
I then thought I'd check mse. Then mse didn't recognise me and I had to reset my password .
This evening I have finally sent off the application for that job. TBH it's practice .
Tomorrow will be spent deleting emails ( a massive amount ), and organising folders . I will update the u c journal with something .
I should be seeing mr. Trainer also .0 -
Hi AC sounds like a mystery with the power over the weekend then. Hope you're getting on with the email organisation and :j for the job application!0

Morning AC how are you? Have you had your appointment with the job centre rescheduled yet? If not you may want to ring them (hmmmmmm) because people seem to sometimes slip through the net and you wouldn't want to have to restart your claim.
Have you got an email system set up and are you checking for new opportunities smoothly now?
Keep going you're doing really well0 -
Hi moo
I have had to u nsubscribe from a couple of websites . "My job helper" for example , sent me multiple emails daily . When I look at that, it lists other links without the proper requirements . Not a proper search engine . I have to do a lot of organising later on .
Today , is my 2 week anniversary of joining universal credit . I won't contact anybody at the moment . I need to wait at least another 2 weeks , as I don't get paid for another 3 weeks . 5 weeks for payment is totally out of order . I'll leave it there.
I just got a call from the lady at the opticians . Not happy. I thought it was a 10.30 appointment . It was actually a 9.45 appointment .
They have a cancellation at 11.45so I will be there for that .
One would think that you'd be sent a text like the dentists and doctors do . I'm hoping that I don't have to pay for more expensive lenses.
Wouldn't surprise me if I do . We'll see.0 -
So, while I had a little time to kill, I decided to leave a review on trust pilot for reactive insurance solutions for my boiler .
I gave them 2 out of 5 and asked where the engineer was.
There is a plumbing co I found which do very good quotes, Dorset plumbing . I may contact them and get things moving ..0 -
Well, back from the opticians . Never bumped into anyone this time .
I got the all clear ,and don't have to see them again for another 2 years . No new lenses needed, just £30 lighter .
I got a response from trustpilot/ reactive and was asked to give my details . I did this , although the trustpilot website has been sluggish on the iPad. This meant my policy no. Missed out a letter . No way of changing it , but they are on the case and I expect to be contacted shortly . We'll see...0 -
Hello AC. Every time I'm away from reading diaries, I look at yours and you've done so much. You've motivated me to get more things organised in my house though.
Good luck with the job search, universal credit and that blasted boiler company. Reactive must be a very ironic name for them.
