    Hi MT:)
Thanks for that . I feel that at long last, I have to put the word procrastination in the distance and actually get back to the way I was , and of course should be :rotfl:
The thing about reactive , is that they seem to be losing engineers and getting bigger at the same time. I found them via Giles heating who did have engineers working for reactive . Giles heating no longer have any engineers there and that , apparently is where the problem is . I got the full apology treatment on the phone by both owners.
One of the owners is supposed to arrive today . He is late . I'm supposed to be getting a boiler service and the 2 rads looked at .

I applied for another job . More practice . Added that to the universal credit journal . Sun is out . I wanted to go out .. blasted reactive

Hi AC good work with another job application :) And whilst battling with boiler company too! Hope the man turns up soon and sorts things out so you get to go out and enjoy this lovely day.
  • Thanks moo :)

I called Reactive the boiler co. At 1 pm . They should have been here at 11am They weren't too sure who I spoke to on their mobile. Apparently they booked me in between 10am and 11am Tomorrow  Inknow the signal was bad , but could I really have got the day wrong ?!?
I said to lady on the phone that I'm 50/50 on cancelling .
I told her to keep the appointment for tomorrow and if I change my mind, and cancel I will call her .
I updated my review , and listed what I have said here and said last chance .
    :mad::mad::mad:
  • After having a great nights sleep on Monday , last night I also had a great nights sleep.. until 1.30 am . After eventually dozing off, I had to get up early to make sure I'm up and ready for the engineer from reactive . The sun is shining again, but I have to wait in for him.

I have to fill in my online application for council tax help, and then print off. They also require proof of I d and national insurance no etc
All of this has to be posted .

I have reduced the prednisolone yesterday to 0.5 mg . There isn't a tablet this size , so I have to break it in half which is difficult .
In a way , I could stop it altogether but I'll go along with this for now
The final hurdle , fingers crossed...
  • Great going on reducing the prednisalone to 0.5mg. Hope you can soon drop it altogether.

Sun is shining here today so 3 mile hike this morning for me and U3a meeting this afternoon.

Have a good day AC and hope you get some joy with reactive.

  • Thanks enthusiastic :)

Well, I just had a visit from one of the reactive engineers ...
Chap looked at the 2 rads in question , and said he could take them out and flush them with water etc, maybe putting acid etc in there also . So, I asked how much? He said around £130 and asked how would I pay . I said I'm not sure as I know a plumber ( james , but never mentioned his name ) . I said I could just replace rads etc
He phoned the office . I was then told it would cost nothing if I stay with them . Can't argue with that;)
So of course before we even had that conversation I made him a coffee as you do . He didn't want biscuits .
So, he and his son will come on Tuesday morning to do everything .
I will give them a tip obviously ,for being decent .
What I will do is extend the contract for another year in June and also leave great feedback on trust pilot once it's all done .

Now to go out in the sunshine :)
  • Great result with the rads AC! It does make me cross how much companies rip off their existing customers with these charges, if they are quite happy to waive the fee completely when they get a bit of push back from a customer. I wonder how many people are just paying the fee regardless?

Good work on the job applications too! :)

I'm sure I've seen a gadget for breaking pills in half. Perhaps do a google, or ask the pharmacist, they might even be able to do it for you.

Did you ever get one of those window bird feeders? Lidl have some bird feeders coming up in their middle of Lidl specials, and they have a window one for only £2.99. There are a few Lidls around your way (I ended up visiting a few when I was down there last year, and they were doing some craft stuff I wanted.)

    Hello Georgina and gigervamp :)
It was you gigervamp that gave me the nod to put feedback on the trust pilot website . Seems to have done the trick as you said .Thank you :)
Good point about the people who carry on paying Georgina . TBh , I'm getting a result as I have been with them since June last year.

Mmm, the bird feeder. I'm not sure if it's worth getting one, as it may attract rats . :o Coukd be over thinking again ..;)

I have a pill crusher that I get with my pyriidostigomine tablets . Wow! Some name there . Trouble is , these prednisolone tablets are so tiny in comparison .
What I have done , is put all of my nedication in advance for about the next three weeks into those daily containers . So I don't need to do anything there until the last week , and fill them up again .if that makes any sense :)

Morning AC sounds like another busy week for you! Hope the dosage reduction is going well and not too many ill effects for you.

So how are the job applications going? How about finishing off the week with just a couple more then you can enjoy the lovely weather?
