DGS's Shelf has been sanded down, and first undercoat applied As its still damp and chilly I am leaving it a few days to 'harden' off before putting the next undercoat on Its in my conservatory on my big craft table drying off.
a bit more decluttering has been going on at Chez nous but its an ongoing job.
Study/computer room virtually sorted ,but still haven't found the blooming kindle yet, its in the house somewhere.
Freezer food is very slowly going down and I am going to be shopping from there this month as well
Last nights veggie bake from there was delicious,I wish I had made more of it.
the months seem to be galloping by don't they and soon it will be spring thank goodness0 -
Do you use a sander Jackieo or do you do all that hard work manually?0

Hi All Just popped in to say that I am still swimming. My weight is going down, but I have been referred to my GP after my medical.
Yesterday after my walk into town I had a massive chuck out and tidy session. I am going to continue with that over the coming weeks.0 -
I am doing two challenges, the house hunt so am copying location location location and extended my search area, doing the work before the `rush`.
The second challenge is ongoing from the savings thread ie living on what I already have in the house with the aim of building up savings for the move. That is going very well0 -
I use a sander kittie I aso have a smaller one apart from the square one which is briliant for getting into grooves and odd bits, looks a bit like a mini iron shaped plate. I love up cycling old bits and piece I find and my grandsons all have benefitted from my labours with desks and shelving in the colours of their footie teams0

Hi all
Just a quick update.
The old Xmas tree has been divided up into 3 bags and the first had gone in the bin. I will have to wait for the next collection for the other 2. They could have gone to the tip but DH hates going as it's always very busy and a pain in the derrierre. ( Like him sometimes :rotfl:)
The new windows are still on track and should be fitted in about 4 weeks, we will have a call to arrange dates. I'm happy with that and hoping it will be a bit warmer/drier by then.
Hope everyone's plans are still going well.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Hi
Just popped in to say that I have started on the garden yesterday, planted some salad in the greenhouse ( after I gave the greenhouse a good clean out ). I also sorted through some seeds as well so I have a list of what needs buying.0 -
Every day seems to see the daylight getting stronger now. Grass looking very long a needs mowing but ground is still too soggy. However the mower has been serviced ready to go and today the border edges were all dug out and straightened.
Have sowed some chilli and pepper seeds indoors and the veg patch is mostly dug. However I!!!8217;m learning at last not to rush out and sow everything on the first sunny day in March but to be patient and let the soil warm up a little as seeds soon catch up.
Every Spring seems to find my joints a little creakiest but nit willing to give up yet. So rewarding to see all this free food peeping through the soil, just waiting to be nurtured and eaten !
Very pleased that all the Living salad punnets I planted out late autumn under long cloches survived the winter frosts and I!!!8217;m still picking salad leaves from them. Aren!!!8217;t the lighter evenings lovely?0 -
the permanent practice will help you, may be tha same as it helped me many years ago. I was afraid of the depth to.0
