Got rid of another 30 odd items today. Then disaster struck as my mum unpacked the cs box back into the house whilst she was babysitting Will start fresh with them again tomorrow!

    Oh no! Bless her heart!

Sorry I've been awol this past week or so. Believe it or not I've been too busy decluttering :rotfl:

I now have a new attic and new bedroom, I can now see my kitchen table again and I've carried my decluttering into work and can now see the countertop again and gotten rid of a few broken toys (I work in a school)

I'm confident enough to say I've past the halfway mark in my target, and I'm now going to set a new target of 2018 items instead of the 3 items a day total for the year.

I'm really enjoying this decluttering and am really looking forward to see what the year will bring.

I'm going to follow the mindset of a few others here regarding ebay - if they don't sell after being listed twice then out they go to the SecondHand shop. I've sold quite a few bits on there this month, and a few DIsney and Harry Potter bits on Facebook. I'll set a deadline for those items also. If they haven't sold by the end of the month then they'll be donated too.

I've spent the morning advertising a few clothes that my husband doesn't want and I can now close the door on my wardrobe. I also sold 3 items of clothing today so I can add this to my holiday fund. I think I'll move on to my bedroom draws tomorrow. LPx

  • Went to the tip today
    1. small ottoman
    2. half a broken shoe rack (??)
    3. Former recycling box
    5. left over bits of hutch (again???)
    6. one old pair of trainers.
    7. one broken (was never going to fix it!) folding table.

I will count up the charity shop stuff. Also two bags of rubbish and one bag of recycling.

    Knackered now, having a nap.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

  • Have just found this thread and it's right up my street. I need to get myself in gear and clear 2 rooms. Going to start now with the fridge 😂. I can do this just need to focus and not get it out off the bin bag once it's in there.
