2018 - RULE OF 3 Decluttering challenge

I really want to declutter during 2018- so that I can see the spare room floor and so that generally there is no clutter to be seen even hidden away in cupboards...
Therefore I am going to play by the rule of 3 every single day during 2018 I will aim to 'lose' three unwanted items from my home this could be by selling on eBay, donating to charity, taking to the tip or putting in the bin or any other means of elimination...
The aim being that this time next year I will have a clutter free home, tidy cupboards and a functional spare room. Any extra pennies made or good deeds done will be an extra bonus...and may well help with other challenges.
I figure that three items per day is small, easily managed and will not take much time or be too overwhelming...
Does anyone want to join me?

I'd like to join you haybel. I'd like to cut down the sheer amount of stuff we own. I've tried other methods but they weren't for me. I don't have time to pull out every item of a specific type in my home and go through them so this sounds much more manageable.0

I would like to join you but probably only 1 item per day if that would be ok? I have a bit to declutter but I think 1 item a day will be more manageable for me, especially in January with lots of exams.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0

Can i join as well i have recently moved and my house is full of stuff i don't need, i do agree with debtfreeduo that 1 item a day is manageable however if i take photo's in advance it should not be too hard to list 3 a day

This sounds like a great challenge. I have heaps of stuff to get rid of and a pile waiting to be ebayed but it always seems such a big job. 3 items a day sounds possible and less daunting. I'm in please'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0
